Just a little rant...

I'm currently unemployed. In order to get some cash to live on, I have to go to my local jobcentre every two weeks.

Went last Tuesday. Usually I get a phone call from my work coach in the Banbury office - just to check up on how my job search is going, what've I been applying for and have I had any interviews? Now, she normally calls in the morning. Normally. Waited in all morning on Tuseday. Phone never rang. Ended up going into Jobcentre in town anyway, and managed to get signed on, despite the fact that I hadn't had my call. She did ring a little later on, but still.

I understand if the work coaches are busy, or if they're having technological problems, but this process of just ringing up whenever doesn't work. Preferred it when they rang at a set time. Least then I knew when to be at home, so I could at the very least answer the phone.

Ah well, over with now anyway. I don't have to go in this coming week, so can do whatever I want to. To be honest, can't wait until I do find employment, then can be free of the hassle of the whole thing.
