chapter 4

I wake up to hear my mum coming in I looked at my phone to see that  it was 4:00 in the morning, why is she up so late.

There was no way I was going back to bed so I tip to tiptoed downstairs to see my mum sitting down on the couch crying.

"Mum what's going on, I'm really worried" I said sitting down next to her. My mum has changed so much since we've came here, and I  have no idea why she's being like this." oh Jade listen dear just go back to bed and don't be worrying everything is going to be OK" 

I didn't feel like arguing with her because I knew I would just get shouted at. So I made my way back upstairs to my room.And went under my covers the first thing I did was text Adam.

I'm really missing you

I put mu phone away and shut my eyes drifting into a deep sleep.

Buzz Buzz Buzz 

I wake up to my alarm telling me it's time for school .yay. note the sarcasm. I get up and do my normal routine. I get a shower and decide to wear a pair of jeans and a top, I'm not the kind of girl that will get all dressed up for school. I curl my hair, and grab my bag.

I go downstairs to see my mum gone, and a simple note saying that she'll be back at 9:00 tonight. Great. She's left me to walk to school. I know where my school is now, it's not to far from my house. 

I make my way out the door, when something catches my eye. It's Alex and one  of hi friends I think his name was Noah. They were outside wit there cars. Me and Alex catch eye contact. shit. I'm trying to stay away from this guy but he is making it very difficult. 

I continue walking past them hoping they won't see me 

" Jade that's your name right?" 

dammit 

I turn round " mm .. yeah" turning around again and I carried on walking

" wait do you want a ride " he says smirking. Noah was just starring at me. What a creep 

" no it's alright ,I can walk you know" 

"no , come on I'll keep annoying you" I could tell that he wasn't lying 

"fine" i said I just wanted to get this guy of my case. I didn't want a boyfriend. The only reason I came here was because of my mum.

I get in the back seat while Noah was in the passenger seat and Alex was driving. It was silent for a while until Noah broke the silence 

" so your the new girl then" he says smirking he was cute as well, they all looked like they worked out and Noah looked like the sweet one, I wonder why he hasn't got a girlfriend.He was gorgeous he had brown hair with dazzling brown eyes he looked perfect wow what am I saying.

"yup" i say trying to end the conversation at that I didn't  want to talk to these guys I didn't want to get in any trouble I just wanted to finish up my year at this high school and move back to my old country ,but these boys are making that really difficult. 

He looked like he was blushing for some odd reason. Did he like me? no he can't like me he's a player and that's properly why they all don't have girlfriends. Alex gave Noah glares all the way to school.Once we were there I literally jumped out the car. Everyone was staring.

"Thanks for the ride" Before I can even let them answer I'm a way to my locker. I see Alison at my locker. " heyy" I say to Alison " heyy gurl" I turn round to see all the bad boys, an popular walking in. Everyone moved out of the way, as they made there way  to there lockers. I look at Alex he's kissing the face of , of Ashley the top bitch. See this is why I don't like hanging around with them.

 The bell rings , meaning it was time for class they stop kissing the life out of each other and head to class. I had English sadly Alison wasn't in my English class, but Hannah and Joey were so that was OK. I sit next to both of them Hannah on my right and Joey on my left.

Alex , Noah, Landon ,Damien and of course Ashley and her minions. kill me now. 

" so what's the deal with Alex and Ashley are they dating or what? " I ask 

" well there sorta dating but it's weird because Alex will cheat on her sometimes" say Hannah 

" yeah and Ashley is very overprotective of him if she even sees him with any girl she'll go nuts" 

oh shit

" so just stay away from them all OK" says Joey I can already see Joey being really overprotective of me 

" yeeah I know "

The school bell rang signalling end of school day yasss I haven't bumped into any of the boys all day well except this morning.

I head to my locker to put all my books away when I see top bitch coming towards me with her minions

shit what have I done

She walks right up to me so I practically feel her breathing on me 

" So I know you're new here and you don't know the rules so just let me break this down for you "

" go on" I said I don't let anyone push me around weather she is the top bitch or not 

 "Alex is mine were clearly dating so i would just back of if I was you "

" whatever I don't care about Alex or anyone of his friends" 

" you can have him" 

And with that I walked away pushing past  her. I had to walk home but I didn't mind, anything is better than spending time with Alex.

I walk in my door, and go upstairs to my bed. what a day I've had today. I look outside my window to see Alex going into the house next door to me. 

Was Alex my next door neighbour no he can't be get that thought out of your head Jade .

It was 10:00 at night still no sign of my mum. I don't get worried any more I'm used to it. I got changed in my pyjamas and went downstairs to watch some t before bed 

I start to watch some reality TV shows when i hear my doorbell ring. My heart starts pounding what about if it's a murder coming to murder me my head starts going down a loop hole of explanations 

I finally decide to gather the courage and answer the door. 

i gasp

" Adam? "
