"Are you sure you want to go back?" I stared at my bffl Mabeline.
"I kinda have to May... I don't really have a choice... Reducio!" My poor owl Achilles shrunk down to the size of a book. Professor Flitwick said something about my outstanding work. Charms has always been one of my best classes.
"C'mon Bella!" Maybel said as we walked to our next class, defense against the dark arts. "Can't you skip this summer!?" I gave her a death stare and thought about all my friends back at camp half blood."This here is me Hippogriff, Buckbeak!" Hagrid said as we stood in a circle in the back of his... Area. Me and the other Hufflepuffs were mixed in with the Gryffindors and Slytherins. It wasn't a bad class. Sometimes. "WHO WANTS TO PET HIM!" The entire class shuffled backwards but Harry stood where he was. Hagrid beamed, "Well done Harry!" He glanced back and I saw Ron and Hermione look sympathetic. "Skylark! Psst!" I turned to see Malfoy sneering at me. I exhaled and whispered "What do you want, Malfoy?"
"I want to see you ride it!" I rolled my eyes at him. But the truth was that I did want to ride it. Maybel and another Hufflepuff shook their heads. I stuck my tongue out at them.
"HEY HEY HEY! Hagrid!" Harry yelled as Hagrid plopped him on Buckbeak's back.
"Don't pull out any of his feathers!" And with that, he slapped Buck's rump and they took off. Jealousy rose in my stomach. When Harry landed, looking excited but windblown, I rushed up and immediately bowed. Buckbeak bowed back at me.
"Bella... What're you doin?" Hagrid called as I scratched Buckbeak's neck.
"Bella you can't do that!" Hermione screamed. I ran my hands down his powerful withers and swung myself onto his back. Buckbeak did a small rear as I fixed my equitation.
"What are you waiting for! Fly it!" Malfoy sneered. And that's when my super equestrian powers kicked in. I nudged Buckbeak with the back of my converse, and we took of.
If you never have flown Air Hippogriff, you've never lived. Sure I've flown Pegasi back at Camp, but they were just winged horses. Now I was soaring through the air around school on a powerful horse bird. The wind pricked my face and tousled my hair. I let a big "WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" Out before telling Buckbeak to turn back. Three houses of eyes stared back at me as i expertly anodes and dismounted.
" Wow, Bella. I never knew yer we're so good with hippogriffs!" Hagrid beamed. I tried to say thanks but I couldn't find my voice. It was probably lost In the wind.
