Officially Dating With Exo Kai

Chapter 9

I don't know what had gotten into me but the more I stared into her eyes, the more my head got hurt. Lots of flashback came into my mind but the weirdest thing is, all of those flashback ain't mine.

It's all about Kai and one girl in the past, I mean in their high school life with school uniforms, out on date, Kai's passion with dance and all. And that girl was THE DOCTOR HERSELF.

Okay, this is not right. What had happened? Why do I can't get myself out of here? What is this?

The doctor held my neck tightly with her right hand that made me breath unconsciously. She forced me to drink the red liquid as much as she wanted. My face turned to be dark blue. She's not gonna kill me, I hope.

PRAAAANNNKKK!

My eyes shot opened. I roamed my eyes around the area and realized I'm still in the hospital, but not in the same room as before. That was a nightmare...

I sighed in relieved. I looked down to my bed and saw Baekhyun bend down to collect the scattered broken plate into the plastic.

He then stood up and put the plastic into the rubbish basket. He tilted his head to me and gave a shock response.

"Oh! I'm sorry. Did I wake you up? I didn't mean to do that" Baekhyun said, apologizing me.

I smiled at him and shook my head, "It's okay. I don't want to be in that nightmare though.." I said in a low voice at the last sentence.

He took a seat on the chair beside my bed. He offered me a glass of water since my throat dried so I drank it. "Are you okay now? Look, your head still have a wound. Your wrist too. And your arm"

"Umm.. yeah" I replied. "Where are the others? Are my parents here too? Did Kai doing well? Did this accident goes viral on media?"

"Hey hey hey.. calm down. Listen, you should worry of yourself first. You still have some wounds yet you worried the others." He said.

"But I just wanna know what had happened.." I frowned.

How cute, Baekhyun thought.

"That's really one of a kind of you, Yumi... Anyways, the others were still in Kai's ward. Your parents didn't know this yet, since we wanted to wait for your decision to tell them or not. About the media.. yeah.. seems like you have another trouble later.."

He continued, "But the most important thing now, you should worry of yourself, okie?"

"Okie.." I replied.

Baekhyun patted my head and smiled brightly, "Good girl"

The next day has come, and Kyumi got better. Today she's planning to visit Kai at his ward since she didn't visit him yet.

Baekhyun still accompany her from yesterday until now. The manager didn't let him at first, but he's so stubborn that the manager finally gave in.

Baekhyun pushed Kyumi's wheelchair slowly. He stopped until they approached Kai's ward. He knocked for a few times and enter the ward with Kyumi. They were welcomed by Kyungsoo and Suho with Kai on the bed.

"Hey, how was Kai?" Baekhyun asked.

"Still no progress. He's still not awake yet.. for 2 days now" Suho heaved a big sigh.

"I'm sorry" Kyumi muttered, with teary eyes. Everyone looked at her shockingly.

She continued, "I'm sorry for troubling you guys. I'm sorry.. if I wasn't that stubborn, this won't happen then"

"Don't say that.. this is not your fault" Baekhyun embrace her warmly. She buried his face at Baekhyun's chest.

"Don't cry.. You didn't do anything wrong. It's just a destiny and we should accept it, right?" Kyungsoo said, smiled warmly.

"Yeah.. this is not anybody fault, you shouldn't be so down" Suho added.

Kyumi let go of Baekhyun's embrace and wiped her tears. She fake a smile, "Thank you.. I don't know what should I do now. I have put you guys in a bad situation yet you guys still treat me well"

She took a glance at Kai. His handsome face was ruined by some bruises. His muscle arm too.. Suddenly, Kai's fingers started to move a bit. His eyes started to blink.

"G-guys.. l-look over there! Kai. He's a-awake! Call the doctor!!" Kyumi yelled in shock. She press the button to call the doctor.

After a minute, the doctor and nurses rushed into Kai's room. His breath started to be unconscious.

Kyumi held onto the doctor's hand, "Doctor, please... take a good care of Kai"

The doctor smiled to her, "I'll try ." The nurse asked Kyumi, Baekhyun, Suho and Kyungsoo to stay outside and they obeyed.

Kyumi sat at the corner of the waiting side, started to sobbing and worrying of what will happen to Kai. Deep inside her heart, she's happy because Kai has finally awake. That was enough for her but what make her worry is what will Kai's condition be? She prayed hard for Kai.

But then, she started to realize something.. The doctor. Yeah, the doctor seems so familiar to her but she's still not sure about it.

I hope you're okay, Kyumi.. I can't stand seeing you sobbing like this.., Baekhyun's inner voice said.
