Kai's POV

Today, I've decided to bring Yumi to meet my mom. We have about two weeks before filming.

I drove my car to her dorm, and fetched her to my house, which is about an hour destination.

She sat on the passenger front seat and buckled the seatbelt.

"Hye, you looked nervous, huh?", I asked and pinched her cheek.

She pushed me away and hide her red face, "What are you doing?"

"Embarrassed already?", I hugged her.

She pinched my cheeks and escaped from my arms. "Geez, stop being cheesy. We have a destination to reach now"

I giggled at her shyness "Alright, ma'am"

"Jagiya, can I ask something?", I reached her hand and grabbed it.

"Hmm?", she nodded

"How are your parents? I have never meet them."

She went silent. I was suddenly hit by a pang of guilty. I shouldn't ask her ..

"They are in Los Angeles, probably still working on the cafe and boutique."

"Ohh" was all I could say.

"It has been a while since I visit them. I really miss them.. especially Byul.."

She suddenly started to sob

"Byul.. he was fighting with leukaemia.. It has been 3 years.."

"Glad to know he is free from leukemia started from last week.."

"Ahh, I feel like I'm a bad daughter, a bad rlder sister now.."

Her eyes started to filled up with tears.

"I should have visit him and celebrate it with them.."

"I am too busy with working.. I should have run away to LA back then, not China. Just because of avoiding those paparazzis.."

"Giving moneys and luxuries to my family are not enough.. I should have go to LA to visit them.. at least once a month.."

She cried harder. Feeling guilty, I parked my car by the road.

I pulled her into my embrace, telling her everything that I could to comfort her.

"You should be happy he is recovering now. You know leukemia usually takes a lot of years to recover?

It's not your fault that you can't visit them... Trust me, I've went through those before. I'm sure, now you could face it.

For being an idol, yes you could get rich, you could get famous, have fans, being loved, being hate by the haters, your life is not as tough as others.. But, you need to be brave, strong, because you need to face all of these.. You have schedules that can't be avoided, you are super busy, you will probably have scandals, avoiding those sasaengs and such...

So, trust me, every successful idols have went through all of these. So I'm very sure, you could face this too, okay?

We could visit them tomorrow since there is no schedule, right?"
