Saying goodbye

Today was the day that my family fly to America, my mum agreed and I'm staying in Sydney. My dad put £1500 in a bank account and got me a credit card. Now I have to look after myself! 

I woke up and got out of bed. I got a shower last night, but I'm going to get one this morning to freshen up. I walked out of my bedroom and got in the shower. After a quick shower I got out and walked into my room. The outfit I picked was a pair of high-waisted black jean shorts and my black and white crop top. To be honest today's outfit was pretty girly, which I wan't, but I was in no mood to find out another outfit so this will do.

After getting dressed, doing my make up, and blow-drying my hair I walked downstairs. My mum, dad and little sister were stood by the door with their suit-cases ready to leave Australia for good and start a new life in America.

"Hey" I walked up to them.

"Are you going to be okay here on your own?" my mum asked as she pulled me into a hug.

"Yeah I'll be fine mum"

"I've asked Karen to watch you and make sure your okay"

"Thanks mum, I'm sure I'll be fine, honestly"

She nodded and smiled at me, tears were filling her eyes.

"I'm going to miss you" she said to me.

"I'm going to miss you too" I smiled.

Then Anastasia put her arms out so I picked her up.

"I'm going to miss you princess" I kissed her cheek.

"I'll miss you Fel Fel" she wrapped her arms around my neck and laid her head on my shoulder.

"Be a good girl for mummy and daddy, okay?" she nodded and I put her down. Next I hugged my dad and we all said our goodbye's. I watched them walk down the path and get in the taxi to take them to the airport. I waved at them as the car drove away. 

I was just about to go inside when I heard a voice.

"Your parents going out?" It wasn't Michael. I turned around to see some guy from school, I'd talked to him a few times, but we aren't friends. It was Calum Hood.

"Yeah, they're moving to America"

He laughed, "no seriously where are they going?" he thought I was being sarcastic, wow.

"Seriously, my dad got a promotion and we were supposed to move to America, but I didn't wanna go so I'm staying" 

He nodded, "oh your being serious"

"Yep"

"Well I have to go, good seeing you Felicity"

I waved and went inside, closing the door behind me.

Hmm, what can I do today? I looked in the fridge and saw very sparce food. Right, that answers my question. Food shopping! But... I don't drive.

Maybe this is gonna be more difficult than I thought. Oh well I'll leave it for now, I'll just order something tonight. I pulled out my phone to see one new text.

Michael- Saw you talking to someone a minute ago x

Is he watching me? Wow, creepy.

Fel- Yeah it's just some dude from school

Michael- Ah, so what are you doing today?

Fel- Well my parents have just gone, I was going to go shopping but I don't drive, so I guess I'm not doing anything

Michael- I drive. I'll take you if you want.

Fel- You will? Thank you so much!

Michael- I'll be round in a minute

I put my black Vans on and waited for Michael. Then I heard the knock, I ran to the door and opened it, making sure I grabbed my purse.

"Where we going first m'lady?" he asked, trying to act like a gentleman. I laughed at his cheesiness.

"Well, I thought maybe the Mall, I need some food and I'm gonna get a few new pairs of jeans"

He nodded and we walked out, I locked the door behind me. We walked to his fairly new black car and got in.

"Nice car" I patted the inside of the car door.

"Thanks" he sat in the driver's seat, "my uncle bought it for me a few months back"

I nodded and he began to drive to the mall.

We arrived at the mall and we got out of his car. I brushed myself down with my hands as he locked the car. Then we started walking up to the enterance.
