Chapter 4

Me and Harry cracked jokes and had good old bonding time all the way home. Once we got home mom wasn't anywhere to be found. Harry and me both looked really worried. She is usually hime after supper. Mum had been tiring so hard after Dad left to get extra money, recently she been disappearing on us only telling me she had just picked up more shifts. Harry helped me with my homework as we waited around for mom to return. Hours had past when she come in through the door, but she something was wrong she look like she had been beaten the shit out of her. She had marks all over her body i frozen at the sight of her. The tears falling down her eyes. "Kaitlyn go to your room." Harry said i knew he was angry i didnt know what his plans where i was scared. I ran up stairs hoping the tears wouldnt fall down before i got was in my room. I didnt want them to see i was hurt, mom was more important now. i knew she did something that she thought would benefit which made it worse. I didn't think she would. I was so angry at everyone and i knew thats why Harry wouldn't take me directly home after school. He knew what was going on. I need to get away I was tired of being lied. The only other time i seen mom like this was Dad , Dad hurt in that way. thats why i couldnt bare to be here any longer so I threw things into a bag quickly, I didn't know where i was going i just knew i needed to get out.

I was on the street with my bag full of stuff and no where to go. I kept my head down straying away from peoples view people knew me but didn't really. After walking for what felt like forever i sat down on a bus bench i wasn't all to sure where i was anymore but I didn't care. As it started to get dark thats when i did, I started to get scared, only Harry and my mom knew that i had a fear of the dark but even more afraid of being alone. I pulled the hood of my sweater over my head and started to walk again. That when a car with bright lightd came my way an i panicked a wave of fear took over and i fainted.

"Hello?" a voice said as they where shaking me.

"mmm" i tried to form words.

" oh thank god" a voice said taking a breath

"Where..am..i.." i said weakly

"umm, in my car?" a voice said.

I finally opened my eyes and slowly sat up in was in a back of a van. i quickly looked down to make sure i still had my clothes on i curled up into a ball before looking up. Thats when i saw none other then Zayn Malik. i jumped in his arms i knew he had no idea who i was but i knew he wouldnt hurt me.

"woah, hey good to see your awake." he said laughing alittle to him self.

"ZAYN! , i'm so glad its you." i said pulling away.

"huh?" he said even more confused then ever.

" I don't know if you will believe me or not but im Harrys sister." i said hoping maybe he recognize me from something.

"Kaitlyn?" zayn said still unsure.

"Yes!, its me Kaitlyn" i said

"I've heard lot about you and see photos i wonder why i reconized you, but what are you doing out here alone?" he said scratching his head.

"umm.." thats when i started to cry.

Harry POV

I sent Kaitlyn up stairs, i didn't need her seeing mom like this.

"what the hell!" i was furious i knew she was seeing him again why wouldn't she just tell us we could have helped her. i knew she was stressing about keeping up with us. i offered to help she refused it.

'Harry language, don't talk to your mother like that!" she said sternly

"Your seeing him again, aren't you." i said disgusted

"Its hard for you kids to understand.." she said quietly

"Why?" i said shaking my head

"He's your father and he deserves a second chance.." she said even quietly knowing she didn't want Kait to hear.

"This is chance a million and look what he did to you, stay away from that man or i will call the police.." i said strictly

she need to realize that i wasn't joking i was looking out for not only mine but her and Kaits safety.

"Go clean up and get some rest," I said before walking upstairs to check on Kait.

I knocked on the door.. " Kait can i come in," i waited a few seconds no response which worried me I quickly swung open the door. She was gone.
