Chapter 10

Justin POV

"Are you sure?" That kiss was amazing, her lips... She said mine tasted like candy. She really liked it I think she may be starting to have feelings for me.

"Uhm... I uh.. I gotta go the bathroom!" She quickly rose up and sped up the stairs. Her thoughts tell me otherwise..

Ariana POV

Crap crap crap! I know Justin is reading my mind I can't have him see my red heated cheeks. I made an excuse and ran upstairs.

I ran into our bedroom that we share and sat on the bed. I looked carefully at the bedsheets and started tracing the stitching in them. That was until I felt someone's presence. I looked up to see Justin, he was standing against the door with his arms crossed.

"You don't have to be embarrassed, Ariana." He sat next to me. I know but you can't blame me.. I'm human.

"I know I know." He shook his head and hopped off the bed. I looked up at him with my eyebrows furrowed.

"Justin.. You seem a little.. Off." I knew something was wrong with him, he's been acting a little bit strange for the past few days.. Almost like he's hiding-.

"I'm fine." He interrupted my thoughts and ran out of the bedroom in vampire speed. There go his mood swings. It's awfully strange how Justin goes from one mood to another really quickly. He only does that when he's under pressure, example would be.. He's hiding something.

Justin POV

Crap! Ariana is starting to realize I'm hiding something. If she ever found out about Austin being alive this whole time.. It'll break her little heart. I've been doing a great job of keeping Austin away from her, but Austin has got something up his sleeve.. I don't know what it is.

I ran downstairs in vampire speed and I was currently sitting down on the couch with my fingers through my hair and my elbows on my knees. (Don't even know if that makes sense😂😂).

"Hello Brother."

What do you want Austin?

Nothing, just thought I'd call and say I will be stopping by. To see your little.. Girlfriend? By the way that kiss.. My god it was almost getting heated you would've loved it if it got heated wouldn't you? So you could go too far and as soon as you get to her neck.. She'll end up.. Well you know what happens next." Austin chuckles at the end. He always talks with a little bit of sarcasm in his voice.

That will never happen with Ariana.

Yeah that's the same way it ends.. Anyways I'll see you later.

"Austin wait-?" I hadn't even realized I spoke out loud until I heard her angelic voice.

"What?" Ariana looked shocked, oh who am I kidding she looked horrified.

"What?" I mocked her and she put one eyebrow up? Oh no.

"Austin?" Ariana's heart started to race and her breathing was becoming shallow.

I just looked at her with one eyebrow up showing her that I didn't say that.. Yes you did.

"Listen Justin, if there's something your not telling me tell me now." Should I tell her?

"Well.. I just. I really couldn't wait to kiss you and when it finally happened I just... Freaked. Ariana I've known about your existence since you were 6 and I fell in love with your beautiful smile and your angelic voice.. My god. You were cute when you were little and you are still cute." What I said made no sense to what she asked me whatsoever but I still meant it, apparently she wasn't.. Satisfied.

"You expect me to believe that because?"

"I mean it."

She sighed and ran back up the stairs.

Ariana POV

I know he's hiding something! Maybe I'm wrong? No! No I'm not I know he's hiding something. Maybe not? UGH!

I am currently in the bedroom again. The door is closed and locked. I don't want him coming in here. I had my fingers in my hair as I paced back and forth over and over again. I stopped when I heard a sudden sound outside of the window... It's probably Justin trying to get in.

I was about to close the window when a hand stopped me, causing me to shriek.

"Justin what the-..." Only it wasn't Justin...Holy Crap.
