Alexis p.o.v
I couldn't believe what I was hearing, it felt like a thousand pins and needles are stabbing into me. Was this really happening? Is my mother really dying? A cold tear ran down my face. Tear after tear, I tried to stay strong but everyday I worried. I went to every doctors test my mother had. One day at the doctors office the doctor told us that mom didn't have long to live he told us  the price for the treatment 15,250 dollars. It was too expensive. We couldn't afford it. "Alexis? Honey?" I sobbed "Yes mom?" "It's gonna be okay" mom told me "I know"  "I love you" I say to mom "I love you too" mom smiled back to me.
Later that day...
Alexis had left the hospital to catch up on a book report she was doing, worrying about her mother.

Moms p.o.v
I can't believe my daughter just heard what was going on. I was worried about her. She didn't really talk as much, her grades at school were getting worse. I asked her what was wrong all she said was "Nothing. Everything is fine mom."

At the hospital...
Alexis and her mother Andrea were at the hospital. Alexis knew Andrea was struggling. As Andrea laid in bed Alexis say there night after night day after day. "How are you Andrea?" Doctor Mark asked. "I'm good." "That's good. We're gonna go for one last test in 2 minutes." Doctor mark said. "Alexis you can stay here if you want, it won't take long." Mom asked "I think I'll come" Alexis replies softly to her mom.

30 minutes later...
Alexis p.o.v

I couldn't believe it, my mother was dying right in front of my own eyes. "Alexis, it's gonna be ok, trust me it'll be ok" mom said softly. Something weird started happening, the monitor seemed like it was slowing down, "Your father will be here in 10 min--" "Mom! Mom! What is it!" The monitor stopped beeping... "WE NEED HELP!" I yelled.

Alexis didn't know what to do at this point, the only thing she could do was stand there in silence, and watch these nurses try and save her mother...
"Ma'am were gonna have to ask you to leave!" I couldn't even walk away I wanted to stand there and help but at this point I was hopeless...
