8. Halloween.

"What are you wearing for Halloween, Johnathan?" Alicia asked as soon as Johnathan came to our table. 

Yesterday went by in a blur. And I defeated Ashley much faster than last time. Again, prooving that I'm the best.

Halloween was next Thursday, and it's traditional for our school to wear the costumes at day. The imagination of the school's students has always fascinated me.

Johnathan looked at me with the tip of his eye then said, "I'm wearing S.J."s costume."

"Yeah, I saw it." I said confirming his words.

"You know," Alicia started cocking her right eyebrow, "my brother told me about this rumor about S.J. Dating another boxer called Red Death. Why don't you wear her clothes, Maia?" She asked.

"They don't sell them." I said immediately, which was true. I had my costume sued at some shop, and the mask bought from another, and the matching socks from a third. My costume was a mixture of red, pink and light green colors, with matching socks. The colors were picked due to the mask's colors. I didn't want to buy clothes, then searh for a matching mask. The opposite is much easier. Does that even make sense? 

The problem is, they didn't know. So I had no escape but say, "sure."

"What the hell are you wearing." I heard Jace scream as I decended down the stairs in my costume. Today was Halloween already, and I was wearing my own Red Death costume for school. 

"My Halloween costume." I answered casually.

He looked at me dumbfounded, "it's Halloween already?" He asked.

I chuckled at that. "You never keep track of time." There was once he woke up unusally late and was startled when he saw us already decorating the Christmass tree. He always forgot his Birthdays, which was good, because he also loves surprises, and we took advantage of that.

"Good morning." I heard behind me as I was looking through the friedge. I looked back and saw Mason in a musketeer outfit. He was even paired with a sword and a cape and a perfectly matching hat. 

"The Three Musketeers?" I chuckled while asking. He walked over with a grin, took off his hat with the right hand while the other was behind his back and bowed to me saying, "good morning, my Red Death lady." Causing both me and Jace to burst out laughing. 

"What's for breakfast kind sir?" He asked with his aweful British accent directing theRise of the Guardians, and  question to Jace, causing both Jace and I to doubl from laughing again.

"Pancakes." Jace finally answered while still recovering from his laughter.

I heard a horn honk from outside, which was my cue to leave. I took a couple of cookies and left.

"You actually wore it!" Exclaimed Alicia as I sat in the passanger seat. I looked at her and saw her in Rapunzol outfit from Tangled. "Who's your Uegene?" I asked. We both adored this movie, and watched it more than once in the cinema, and well as How To Train Your Dragon both first and second, and Frozen, and Brave. Fine! We love Animation movies. It's not a crime, you know.

"It's not like you didn't see it coming?" She said giggling.

"I shouldv'e." I muttered to myself grinning.

Minutes later, Alicia was parking her car in the school's parking lot, and we both got out.

As we looked around campus, everything was overly colorful. Some had similar idea to Alicia's and wore Animation characters' outfits, some wore celebrities costumes. Some took ideas from movies, some books. Some wore Historical characters like my brother. But what I didn't see was athletes outfits, which made me stand out, until Johnathan reached our side.
