Upside Down

Chapter 1

"It a new start Alexandrine. Everybody will hardly recognize you. Your brother will be there so if you are having trouble go to him or call me! Have a good day you two! Love you" mom said as she drove off leaving me and my twin brother, Alec ,at the hell hole that gave me nightmares.

Alec gave me a nudge "come on it won't be that bad. Just look on the bright side." He smiled and slung his arm over my shoulders. I waited for him to tell what was on the bright side but we kept walking "Alec what is on the bright side?"

"Uh? Well- oh hey look it's billy!" He called and waved to 'billy'.

"My name is not billy!"

"Well you look like a billy!" I punched Alec in his side and stomped toward the office.

"Billy has problems." He pointed back to where 'billy' was and shook his head.

"His name isn't Billy it's Joey." I said nonchalantly.

"Well I'm calling him Billy."

Alec and I were both 17 and he happened to be a bully that's why he got a long so well with the jocks, but when it comes to me he goes all ninja and kicks their ass.

"Oh Alec wonderful seeing you here...again...in my office.. What did you do?" The secretary, Ms. Birch, said while glaring at him.

"Nothing. Yet. We moved back and we need our schedules." He explained.

"Well I hope this year will be better for you." Ms. Birch started printing out our schedules and while she was doing that Alec's buddies happen to see him and gave him a 'bro' hug.

Two of them were twins but also know as my bullies.

"Well,well, well what do we have here?" Grayson asked as he looked behind Alec.

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms over my chest. "Bro look who it is. Miss GG" he continued. I scoffed at my nickname but then the guys all turned their attention to me.

GG stands for good girl. I don't know why but now everyone calls me that.

"Alright guys she is my lil' sis. Back off." I glared at him "only by 5 minutes!" I walked pass them but when I did I felt someone pinch my butt.

I gasped and turned around. They all had a smug look on their face but Alec pointed to Ethan, so I slapped him and stalked off right when the bell rang.

I groaned and turned around to tell whoever was poking me to stop, but when I did it happened to be one of the people I hate. Ethan.

"Will you quit it?!" I hissed and turned back around to focus on what the teacher was saying but much to my dismay that didn't happen.

Ethan along with Grayson started throwing paper at me when the teacher was looking. I kept quite for a while but when another ball of paper hit me I snapped.

"For the love of God stop!!! You inconsiderate dumbass! " I yelled.

"Miss Carter. Office. Now. You too boys." Mrs. Blonk demanded. I reluctantly walked to the office with boys trailing behind me.

I sighed before knocking on the principal's door. I heard a faint 'come in'. I walked in and sat in one of the farthest chairs.

"Miss Carter. Boys." Boys? They probably came in here more than anybody can count. I wouldn't be surprised.

"I see we are having issues?" He said.

"I cussed in class and I'm sorry but these two as- umm nincompoops kept throwing paper at me so I couldn't concentrate!" I rambled. I couldn't help it. I didn't want to get detention on my first day of school! Nor do I want to ruin my reputation.

"I understand, but unfortunately you will have to suffer the consequences." He intertwined his hands together on the desk.

"Please! I'm sorry. I don't want this to be on my rep." I begged. I would do anything to keep this from going on my reputation.

He sighed and looked at us one more time before looking at his paper in front of him. "Alright I tell you what. You do community service for the rest of the semester and this won't go on your reputation." I smiled and shone his hand. "Deal"

I was about to leave when his voice stopped me. "But the boys will have to with you. Ethan. Grayson. You will clean the school for entire semester." I was about to protest but he held up his hand, telling me to stop, "Miss Carter, would you rather me put this on your record?" I didn't say anything so I just left.

I have two words for the Dolan twins.

Fuck you guys!

"Mom! I'm home!" I yelled as dropped my bag by the front door.

"I am too!" I rolled my eyes at Alec's immaturity.

Of all people he had to be friends with the ones that bullied me. They still bully me. Now I have to work them because they kept throwing paper balls at me.

"Alexandrine May Carter." I heard my mothers stern voice from the kitchen.

I tipped toed to the stairs but Alec grabbed my waist and dragged me to the kitchen.

"Alec!! Stop!! "I kept trying to push him off but he wouldn't budge.

"No I wanna see you get in trouble" he smirked as pushed me in the kitchen.

I sighed and sat at the stool that was near the island.

"The principal called." I looked up finally meeting her eyes and let me tell you they had fire in them.

"You're luck he isn't going to put that on your record."

"It wasn't even my fault! Alec's stupid friends kept throwing paper at me!" It was no point in saving my sorry ass so I took out my phone and handed it to her.

"You can have this back when you learn to control yourself." With that she walked out the kitchen.

I saw Alec laughing in the corner of my eye and I felt steam come out of my ears.

Well isn't this just peachy....
