Upside Down

Chapter 2

Alex POV

"Get up! Get up! Get! Up!" Alec yelled while jumping up and down on my bed.

"Grow up." I muttered and out the covers over my cold body and drifted back to sleep, but moments later I felt a splash of cold water.

I jump out of bed and glare at Alec. "Great now that you're up let's go get some hot cocoa and lunch." He smiled.

I stayed out and my glare still fixated on him.

"Come on its 2:30 pm! You slept on most of the day." He explained. I looked at the clock and saw that it was indeed 2:30.

"You still should not have dump water on me!" I yelled.

"I'm so-" I cut him off by raising my hand.

"It's too late to apologize." I muttered while walking to my closet.

"It's too late! I said it's too late to apologize! It's too late!" Alec belted out the lyrics and left the room. I laughed a little and started searching my closet what to wear.

55 minutes later

"Omg Alex hurry up!!"I heard Alec yell from downstairs.

I sighed and grab my plaid flannel shirt, short shorts, and my combat boots. I brushed my hair down and put eyeliner and mascara on. I put a little bit of lipgloss on. I grabbed my bag and phone then headed downstairs.

"Finally! I thought you died up there." Alec got up from the floor that he was currently laying on.

"Yeah well I thought your face died up there." I retorted and got in his black Audi.

"So why are we grabbing lunch? We never bond so why now?" I folded my arms over my chest and looked out the window.

"What I can spend some quality time with my loving sister?"

I shook my head "nope" I said popping the 'p'.

He pulled up to this little café, called The Good Batch. It's pink and brown and has tables outside with umbrellas to block the sun. It's my favorite place to go and it brings back memories.

I got out of the car and looked up at the café. I smiled and tears started to form in my eyes." Alex, dad still loves you. You know that." Alec said as we step into the small building.

I sighed and nodded while looking down. Alec put his arm over my shoulder "oh would you look at that we have company." I shot my head up and the Dolan twins and the others guys right there.

"Why the hell did you bring me here?" I shoved Alec's arm off and started walking away.

"Wait Alex! " he wrapped his fingers around my elbow and turned me around.

"I brought you here to face your bullies. I can't stand you having this evil glare when you say that. If you keep doing that" he point to my glare"it will stay like that" he laughed. I sighed and starts walking towards them. With a glare still on my face.

"Well hello, Do you remember me GG?" The guy with long ruffle hair asked.

I scrunched my nose and tried to think, but I shook my head 'no' he sighed "I'm Troy Jensen. I have a crush on you" his eyes suddenly went wide and covered his mouth. My jaw dropped and I pretty sure so did everyone one else did too.

"Erm I'm Kyle Evans." The next guy stuck out his hand and I shook it while I was still looking at Troy. His were a shade of pink and he was avoiding eye contact. I shook my head and turned to the rest of the boys.

After a while we settled down and had hot cocoa.

"So I must say you are much sexier the last we saw you." Danny said. I blushed and a small smile tugged on my lips.

Danny Evans which is Troys brother, has blonde hair and his bangs are spiked up so is Troys but of course his hair is brown.

"Umm thank you I guess?" I looked at Alec and he had a smirked on but when he turned to look my way he frowned. "Umm don't talk to my sister like that."

I laughed at his stupidity and rolled my eyes. I notice Ethan and Grayson started to get upset about what they were talking about but they noticed I was staring and they stopped talking.

The café door opened and the bell 'dinged'

I looked behind the guys and saw who I never thought I would never see here.

My ex- best friends.

"Alex?" Danny waved his hand in front of my face.

"You know if you keep doing that you won't have a hand anymore." I scowled and kept my glare on Tori and Amy.

Tori started looking around while any ordered and our eyes met. I looked away immediately.

A few moments later I felt two new presence.

"Well well isn't Alec and Alexandrine."

"Alex." I muttered.

"I'm sorry what did you say?" I looked up at Tori and Amy. I stood up and I glared at her.

"I said its fucking Alex." I growled and I notice the boys have gone awfully quiet.

"You should have brought popcorn." I heard Ethan say to Danny.

"Don't talk to me like that." Tori jutted out her bottom lip and put her hand on Alec.

"Then say my name next time and we won't have a problem." I sat down and leaned back in my chair.

Tori, Amy, and I have a lot of history together. We were best friends! But they had to ruin that by betraying me...that another story for another time.

Tori rolled her eyes and left along with Amy,who had a sad look on her face. She gave me a small smile and left.

"What the hell was that about?" Grayson said after a moment of silence.

Ethan put his arm on his shoulder and looked at me and so did everybody else.

"Just a bitch who doesn't like it when she doesn't get what she wants." I looked at the window and saw her car pull away but what concerned me was that she left Amy.

"I will be right back" I stood up and went out side.

"Amy?" I asked and put my hand on her shoulder. She turned around and had tears in her eyes but I also noticed a red mark on her cheek.

"Alex I'm sorry. I'm so sorry what Tori and I caused." She wrapped her arms around me and hugged me tightly.

I akwardly patted her back while she sobbed in my shirt "can we go to your house and talk about why Tori and I did what we did?" I looked behind me and saw all the guys looking at us.

I sighed and nodded.

I did want to know why they did what they did but I also want to know why Tori slapped her and drove off.
