Our Hidden Mickeys Tour begins at the entrance to Magic Kingdom.
TOWN SQUARE
As you pass under the Walt Disney World Railroad and enter Town Square, take a look at the clock atop City Hall to the left. When the clock strikes 12:00, the base of the clock hands form a Hidden Mickey.
Now we're off to the Car Barn, located between City Hall and The Emporium, next to the Harmony Barber Shop. Take a look inside and, if you're lucky, you'll see horse bridles hanging, each with shiny brass Hidden Mickeys catching the light. You'll also find these on the horses of Main Street, U.S.A.
MAIN STREET, U.S.A.®
As you begin to pass down Main Street, U.S.A., take a look at the street lamps on each side of the street. At the right time of day, the shadows of the streetlamps form a Hidden Mickey.
Towards the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. and on your left as you walk towards Cinderella Castle, you'll find a small stained glass window high atop The Emporium. If you study this window carefully, you'll find that the different colors of stained glass form a classic 3-circle hidden Mickey.
"PARTNERS" STATUE
You'll need to be there at the right time of day, but look at the shadow cast by the iron scrollwork of the railing around the base of the statue.
THE HALL OF PRESIDENTS
In the viewing hall, you'll find a portrait of George Washington. Study the sword he is holding.
THE HAUNTED MANSION
Now we're off to the Haunted Mansion to find a couple of classic Hidden Mickeys. One of the more famous Hidden Mickeys located in the park can be found in the classic ballroom scene of The Haunted Mansion. There, at the left end of the table and amidst all the dancing ghosts, you'll find three plates arranged to form a classic 3-circle Hidden Mickey.
As you pass towards the end of the graveyard scene, study the face of a small ghost in the passageway to the right.
As you approach the woman with the red beating heart, look to the other side and notice three pots hanging on a post.
The ride is over, but it's not time to stop looking, as this one is underfoot. As you exit the Haunted Mansion, look down and spot a Hidden Mickey next to a gate.
SPLASH MOUNTAIN®
There are a few Hidden Mickeys on Splash Mountain. Some are easy to find, while others are not. One is obvious to some, but impossible to see to others. Here's one everyone can find. . .as you begin the ride, look for barrels stacked to form a Hidden Mickey.
As you make your way to the big drop, study the outline of the opening through which your log will pass before dropping. Do you see Mickey Mouse's side profile?
BIG THUNDER MOUNTAIN RAILROAD
Now head towards "The Wildest Ride in the Wilderness!". . . Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Watch for this famous Hidden Mickey at the end of the ride. Keep an eye on the right side of the track and look for sets of gears just beyond the dinosaur bones. One of those sets looks like a classic Hidden Mickey.
PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN
Of course, pirates aren't going to make it easy to find this Hidden Mickey loot. Look for a drunken pirate and his cat. Above the cat, you'll spot a shadow, a portion of which looks familiar.
This next Hidden Mickey combines a famous scene with a famous mouse! As you continue on the the attraction, you'll come upon the scene of the prisoners trying to entice the dog to bring them the keys. Notice the shape of the lock on the jail cell door.
