The Disney's Hollywood Studios Hidden Mickey Tour is your chance to hob-nob with the Hollywood elite while searching for the star of the show . . . Mickey Mouse!
INTERSECTION OF HOLLYWOOD AND SUNSET BLVDS.
Our tour begins in the heart of the action, at the intersection of Hollywood and Sunset Boulevards. This Hidden Mickey has a bit of history attached, as it reflects the year of the first sound cartoon ever made, which starred Mickey Mouse, or Mortimer Mouse, as he was initially named. You'll find this "Hidden Mortimer" in the form of impressions in the sidewalk which read, "Mortimer & Co., 1928 Contractors."
Look up and you'll find Mickey Mouse peering from behind a map atop the street signs.
Take a moment to study the gold scrollwork of the façade on the nearby Sunset Club Couture.
THE TWILIGHT ZONE TOWER OF TERROR™
Our next stop on the tour takes us to another dimension . . . The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. There are several Hidden Mickeys found here. One of the most notable is vintage Mickey Mouse doll held by the little girl getting into the elevator with her parents. Guests will also notice a Hidden Mickey in the swirling stars which form in front of the elevator as it enters the "Fifth Dimension."
ROCK 'N' ROLLERCOASTER
Starring Aerosmith
Take a moment in the preboarding area to look for a classic 3-circle Hidden Mickey coiled near a guitar stand.
MAMA MELROSE'S RISTORANTE ITALIANO
Now we're off to Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano on the other side of Disney's Hollywood Studios. As you enter the restaurant, look to the right and find a Dalmatian with a classic Hidden Mickey on its right shoulder.
TOY STORY PIZZA PLANET
Time to journey over to Toy Story Pizza Planet for an out-of-this-world Hidden Mickey. Up above one of the counter registers, you'll find a classic Hidden Mickey in one of the constellations.
STREETS OF AMERICA
Travel across country now to the Streets of America. Look down a side street to find a barber shop with an interesting sign. You're looking for a Hidden Mickey on "one. . . Dalmatian."
We finish our tour with a stroll over to a San Francisco street. Find the large mural and read the newspapers carefully. You'll find two references to the famous Mouse.
