Rushing quickly to the chemistry laboratory while trying to dust off the little dirt on left on my pants and relived to find no stairs on my shirt, I pulled out the lab coat from my bag and slowly opened the door. Only to be greeted with more than three dozen pairs of eyes starring.

"You're late!" chirped the chemistry teacher with her thin red hair tied up revealing her pale scalp at random parts of her head. She wore two different side golden earrings, one longer and different shaped to the other.

"Sorry miss."

"And why are you late" she said moving closer to me, her rounded snow man like body not slowing her pace down. "Wake up late? Boyfriend? Or do you like being the center of attention?" she smiled sarcastically with her coffee stained crocked teeth left exposing.

"No mam, I had a bit of trouble at the office" That's when I heard a familiar snicker. Demon I thought.

"See me after class girl!" she said walking away with her body bouncing as she walked towards the white board.

Class wasn't a good start either; our chemistry teacher announced we had to redo our entire chemistry project since it wasn't up to standard. Redo all our experiments as well as our drawings, and labs. In the midst of doing our acid - base neutralization lab, some idiot pouring the acid into the burette made spills more than 50 million times which resulted in the entire work area soaked, my books, our notes everything ruined.

"Yes miss" I mumbled as I stood outside the chemistry teacher's office.

She glared at me. That's when I realized she had someone else in her office. Looking down onto the chair I saw the familiar tall blonde figure, smirking at me with his hair slightly covering his green eyes, I managed to see a wink. Gritting my teeth, as I apologized to miss and was about to leave.

"No wait I'm finished." She said and with a firm hand she yanked me back into her office. Just as she was about to open her mouth and obviously be little me in front of the creep, her phone rang. She answered with annoyance evident in her tone which soon faded to her fake voice.

"Yes mam" she turned around out through the door and started to waddle down the corridors without an explanation. The tall guy was about to get up and leave when I called him back.

"Uh... sorry," I began as I reached in my bag "but I think this is yours." I said handing over the similar phone. He looked at my hand then back to my eyes, as if searching for something, picked the phone up and left the office without a word.

Leaving the witches' lair I hurriedly sped toward the canteen before the bell rang; tea wouldn't just fuel me up for the day. I heard a knowing voice which bolted towards me. Jule, one of the prettiest girls in school approached me. The only reason she wasn't part of the other girls group was the fact that she was smart and humble. She never flaunted her beauty or riches. She dressed so down to earth wearing the simplest of clothes with little to no makeup on her caramel heat shaped face. What really drew me to her was her weird bubbly personality. She was a nerd –as what most would say-. A 'Merlin' fan, a 'Star Wars' fan, a 'Harry Potter' fan, she even loved k-dramas. She was so different and exotically beautiful. With her straight long brown hair reaching her waist tied into a low pony tail and large beautiful brown eyes, small nose followed by plump, pink, kissable lips any guy would have loved to make her their trophy girl. However she wasn't down for that she loved being independent the last thing on her mind was a guy.

She noticed the lack of enthusiasm today and gave me a warm understanding smile as her hand touched my shoulder.

I returned a smile and bought my snack to go eat.
