Ty's P.O.V

Why can't I just tell him how I feel? God, I'm such a wuss. The worst that could happen is he says he doesn't like me back. It's hurting me more that I have to stuff these feelings down. It doesn't help that I'm attracted to the captain of the football team. He's extremely popular and perfect. You know the type. And me? You ask. I am not popular. Well, in that sense. Everyone knows who I am. I happen to be the smartest kid in school. I'm the honor student. Super smart, super hated and super underappreciated. I guess, I'm fairly decent when it comes to the looking department because ladies love me. You're thinking, “Isn't that a good thing?”. It would be, if I was straight. If you were paying attention to the first part you probably figured that out. Hi, I'm Ty. The nerdy, decent looking honor student. And I have the biggest crush on Adam, the captain of the football team. Walking down the halls drowning in my thoughts I crash into someone.

After plummeting to the floor, I look up to see who I accidentally ran into. Oh no. Its Adam.

“Oh man, are you okay dude?” Adam stretched out his hand.

I grab his hand. “Uh yeah, I'm fine,” he pulls me up. Man is he strong.

“Uhm, Ty. Right?” He asks with uncertainty.

My eyes widen. “Yeah. Wait, you know who I am?” I assumed he didn't know I existed.

Adam raises his eyebrow. “Everyone knows who the honor student is,” he replies.

I. Am. A. Dumbass. I can not believe myself. “Oh yeah. I forget everyone knows me.”

“Well, sorry I bumped into y-”

“Hey, is this guy giving you trouble Adam?” Jason walks in between us.

“Nah man. I wasn't fucking paying attention and I ran into him. I knocked him down and-”

Adam's voice trails off as I fast walk to english. The best subject in school, in my opinion.

Adam's P.O.V

I watch as Ty walks away.

“You know he's gay, right?” I turn my attention to Jason.

“Well, yeah. Everyone knows that,” I reply. That was probably one of the biggest rumors that was found out to be true. Yeah, I know he's gay and I was ecstatic when I found out. What are the odds that the boy you like is gay? I'm gay but nobody knows and I'm keeping it that way. For now, I guess. Living a lie isn't really me living my best life. I don't know what it is about Ty, but something about him just draws me in.

“Bro, there's your girlfriend,” Jason points down the hall.

You heard him right. I have a girlfriend. For my image. She's the captain of the cheerleading team, I'm the captain of the football team. It only makes sense.

“I'll leave you two alone,” Jason winks at me and walks away.

I wish he wouldn't.

“Heyyy babe,” Jessica says, wrapping her arms around my neck.

This is Jessica. As stated earlier she's the captain of the cheerleading team. She's an unnatural redhead. Think ‘The Little Mermaid’ red. Her reason? There were too many blonde on the cheerleading squad.

“Hi Jess,” I reply. To be completely honest, I hate her. Hate is a strong word but she's cheated on me at least twice. She's extremely fake and her personality is ugly. Why haven't I left her? For my image. It's sad, I know.

“So babe. How are you?” Jessica giggles.

“I'm good but I have to get to class. I'll text you later,” I start to walk away from her. She smiles. At least she's happy, she's tolerable like that.

Off my my favorite class, English. A subject I'm actually good at. The second reason it's my favorite class is because Ty is in it.

Heyo, I'm rewriting this story! I really like the plot so I thought I'd give it the writing it deserves. I'm going cheated by chapter. I hope it's okay. See ya in the next chapter ~Josie
