Another five years later, Rachel and Rodney, who are now ten and eight, got their bags ready for school to get ready for their first day of fifth and third grade. Roddy was getting ready for his first day of work at his new job that he got at the music room back at Puss in Boots' house as one of Buster Moon's new singers and teachers while Rita was waiting by the boat, outside for her family to jump in, holding their lunch bags with their names on them before they left the door to their house as they walked to the boat, all ready, collecting their lunch bags. "Alright, Roddy, Rodney, and Rachel." Rita said, handing her husband and kids their lunch bags before stopping her daughter. "Hold on a second, Rachel."

"Yes, mum?" Rachel said, looking at her mother before jumping in the boat.

"Since it's your first day of starting fifth grade today and that you're old enough to drive now, how would you like to take a spin on the wheel?" Rita said, holding up the key to the boat much to Rachel's surprise.

"Really? I'm finally gonna drive? I, I don't know what to say right now. This is huge!" She said, all excited.

"Well, today's your lucky day, honey." Rita said, smiling, giving her daughter the key.

"Uh, Rita? I don't know if she's ready for it quite yet. I mean, This is her first lesson right now, but why on the first day of school?" Roddy said, nervously.

"Relax, Roddy, it'll be fine. She can do it. Right, Rachel?"

"Right. Of course I can. Don't worry, I'll try not to crash." Rachel said, jumping in the boat with her mother, walking up to the steering wheel. Roddy sat down straight up along with his son, both nervous about Rachel driving.

"We're gonna die, dad. You, on the way to work and me, on my first day of third grade." Rodney said, shaking, holding his father's hand tightly.

"Everything will be alright, as long as we don't crash. So fingers crossed and prayers on hoping we make it to your school safe, son." Roddy said.

"Alright, sweetheart. Remember to take it slow and steady, okay?" Rita said.

"Okay, slow and steady. Alright, first, I start by starting the boat." Rachel said, turning the key to the boat while the engine to it started up.

"Good job. Now what's next?"

"Look for other boats coming, behind you, the side of you, and in front of you." Rachel said, looking behind, then turning to both sides until she turned to the front. "If there's no boats around, you're good to go." So Rachel started driving slowly before coming to a stop sign where she took a sharp left turn, which almost sent her father and brother overboard, but her mother held onto the railing of the boat, almost tilting over to her daughter. She looked worried there for a moment, but kept her cool anyway.

"It's okay, honey. I did that on my first try, too. Take it easy on the turns next time, okay?" She said. "Keep trying. You got two more blocks to go." Rachel nodded, nervously as she kept driving until she finally made it to her and Rodney's school.

"Finally, we made it alive, but right now, I can't move." Rodney said, still shaking.

"Okay, then I'll help you get out of the boat instead." Rachel said, taking Rodney's hand, pulling him up from the bench.

"Alright, Rachel, The next time you drive, please be careful, okay?" Roddy said.

"Okay, Dad, I'll keep trying." Rachel said, giving her father hugs and kisses along with Rodney.

"But you two have a great day at school today."

"Bye, dad. Good luck on your first day at your new job today." Rodney said, as Roddy smiled.
