(Bruce's POV)

"My foster name is Ava Saviur. But my real name is.." I could hear her gulp before she says it. But why? She has no reason to be nervous.

"Ava Rose Banner." She is my daughter? I could feel the guys looking at me and Ava.

"Banner? You're my daughter?" I know it was obviously what she had said, but I just couldn't believe it.

"I never knew I had a daughter. I-I'm so sorry."

"It's okay. The orphanage isn't that bad. The beatings have gone down to only when you deserve it or when you get on the adults nerves. My stuff isn't getting stolen anymore so that's good." I feel so bad for the kid. I have to get her out of there. She is my daughter. I think.

"So how old are you?" I asked hoping to help her stay calm although she seems to be doing good at it herself.

"It's actually my sixteenth today." She says. Sixteen years. I've missed sixteen years of my daughters life. What kid of father am I?

"How do you keep your cool so well in a fight. You know without hulking out right away?" Tony asks as I shot him a glare.

"I have known about my... ability since I was 13, so for three years. And once I figured out what I was, I knew that I had to have control over the monster inside me, no matter what condition I am in." She explains. She has been hiding that in her for three years? I can barely hid the big guy in me for three days, unless I am working on a big project or something of the sorts. I looked at everyone. By now were all sitting on a bench outside of Stark Tower.

"So, what did the bullies say that made you loose control?" Tony asked, and I shot him another glare even more strongly this time hopping that he would get the message.

"Umm... Just something. Never mind. It's nothing." I could tell that she wanted to tell someone what it was. But I'm not gonna push.

(Ava's POV)

"What time is it?" I say frantically.

"Umm... 3:57. Why?"Tony says.

"Dang it! I was supposed to be home by 3:00. I am so dead. And most likely not metaphorically." I say scared at what the rest of today has to offer.

"I will take you home and explain everything." Bruce says.

"Thanks, but that won't help. When you leave, I'll just get beaten again." I say as I start to tear up and cry. I sit on a bench near by, then I feel an arm go over my shoulder. It was my Bruce.

"I just wish I would get permanently adopted and have a nice family. Live in a nice house. Who knows nice people." I said that, then I realize the look Bruce had in his eyes. It's the same look that I have when I have a smart idea, but might be dumb. What was he planning?

(Bruce's POV)

I have a nice house, I am a nice person, most of the time, and I know nice people. Not to mention I am her father.

"I'll adopt you." I say before thinking anything else through.

"What?" Tony said. "Umm... You do know you live with me and Pepper right?"

"And you have plenty of rooms." I laugh. "Tony can we talk. In private?" Then we walk just far enough away so that we are are sure that no one could hear us.

"Look Bruce I feel bad for the girl to but-"

"But nothing. I am going to get my daughter back and that is final. Look. When Zoe showed up at your front door with a guy saying how her mother had died and she was your daughter, I never complained about bringing her into the family." I explain, I figure that maybe if I bring Zoe, his daughter, into it, he will be more accepting about the situation. "All that I am asking is that you let my baby girl be with me in my home. And my home happens to be yours and Peppers as well so. I missed sixteen years already. Don't let me miss anymore."

"Fine. Zoe was complaining on how she was always getting lonely and bored when I was gone anyways." Tony agreed. "Let's go get your daughter back."

(Ava's POV)

I could overhear little bits and pieces of their conversation. But not much. I hear them say the name Zoe a time or two, I think that that's Tony's daughter. I also heard  Bruce say that he has already missed enough of my life and doesn't want to miss anymore of it, that's so dad-like. Then I heard Tony agree.

"It's settled. You're gonna live with us."

"What, really?" I ask pretending that I didn't just overhear some of their conversation. "Thank you so much! I won't take up much space. I don't have a lot of things that the foster parents are gonna let me keep."

"Trust me. Two month of living with me, and you'll have plenty of things." Pepper laughs.

"Two months? Try two weeks." Tony jokes. Then everyone starts laughing. I know i'm gonna like it with my new family.
