You were currently alone in the living room waiting for your dad to come home with tears in your eyes you had a bad day at school mostly because the bully in your classes picked on you because you have a harder time reading than the other kids in your first grade class. By the time you father got home your sobs were reduced to sniffles. Alfred tiredly flopped on the couch seeing (y/n) puffy red eyes and tearstained face sits back up "what's wrong (y/n)?" He asked worriedly "th-this b-boy in m-my class p-picked on m-me causes i-i couldn't read some of the w-words" to cried hiccuping Alfred gently picks you up and hugs you " don't worry (c/n/n)! I the hero will make you all better!" Your father shouts loudly makeing you giggle you two than walk to the kitchen and your daddy sets you on the counter and gets out some (f/f) ice cream out and handing it to you " hey (y/n) I have work off tomorrow wanna go to the park?" He asks you look confusly at him "but I have school tomorrow" He smiles his goofy smile "no its national stay away from the bullies and be with your hero dad day" you smile and hug him both of you laughing and goes to watch a movie you slowly growing tired even though you had ice cream "hey daddy?" You say yawning "yes (y/n)?" Alfred answers "will you be my always hero?" You ask before falling asleep he smiles at you and puts a blanket on you kissing your forehead "I'll always be your always hero"
