(Jason POV)

Tiana and I emerged from the ocean with our surfboards. I was completely soaked from all the failed attempts at catching the waves. Tiana, however wasn't, she completely dominated those waves back there.

"I can't believe how good you have gotten. You completely slayed back there"

"Yeah, You tried it, but I murdered your ass back there" Tiana boasted as she tucked away some wet loose hair.

I chuckled, "You're so arrogant"

"I know this" she smiled. We then carried on our walk.

When we got to my car, Tiana and I retrieved our towels from the back seat. We then, simultaneously dried each other off.

"My hair Jason"

"Don't worry I got you" I Assured drying her hair off.

"Thanks Love" She said as she, then helped dried my hair off.

When we finished, Tiana and I went back onto the beach and reclaim our seats on the rocks along the Costal line.

"So did you have fun?" Tiana queried.

"I did. It was awesome"

She smiled, "Good I'm glad"

"It was fun, for real. Thank you T"

"You're welcome" she responded, "See I told you I was going to get you back" she said smoothing my hair back.

I looked to Tiana and smiled. Tiana spots me and chuckled. "What?" She asked. " Nothing, It's just. I missed you"

"This I know" she smirked.

"You're so arrogant" I repeated. *both laughs.

"I missed you too"

"I know"

"Now whose the arrogant one?"

"Still you" I answered.

"Hey" she said playfully pushing me.

Moving on from the topic I've been wanting to talk about what Tiana said earlier in the mist of our brief argument. I side eyed her and then asked.

"So what did you mean about not being in serious relationship in the course of those six years?"

"It's as I said" she responded with a shrug of the shoulders, "I haven't been in committed relationship in over six years."

"Well why haven't you?"

"I just never found anyone who I connected with, not on a deep level. Not ever since...you know"

"Yeah" I nodded casting my eyes downwards.

"But you did. And I'm happy for you. At least one of us did." She said with a faint smile, before looking off into a distant.

"Yeah"

"Maybe someday. I'll find that somebody"

"Sure" I responded half- heartedly, before looking out into the distance.

For the remainder of the day, Tiana and I watched in silence as the Waves clash against the rocks, all the while sneaking glimpse of each other.
