~Third P.O.V.~

The bright sun slowly but surely rose bathing the morning sky in beautiful shades of oranges and reds. A sleepy tiger lies in the sun's toasty rays, enjoying the relaxing warmth. He snores lightly as he rolls onto his side, trying to get comfortable. Meanwhile, in a tree nearby a silhouette wakes from their sleep and looks down at the feline in the grassy clearing. They slightly stretch and slide from their spot on the tree branch. Landing softly on the grassy, they sneak closer to the sleeping beast.
'Sure is big isn't he... Gotta be careful around this one.' They creep around Tonoko's snoozing form, as if examining him. What they didn't catch, was Tonoko's ears twitching with every step they took.

~Tonoko's P.O.V.~

I was resting peacefully until something decided to wake me up by clumsily stalking around me. Don't they have any common sense? You should be quiet if something is sleeping...
'I'm about ready to give this thing a piece of my mind!' I thought as they continued to sidle about me.

~Third P.O.V.~

Tonoko gave a low growl as a warning. The mystery person stopped behind his head, but soon disregarded it as the tiger having a dream. And then it happened, Tonoko jerked his head backwards and snapped at the feet of the disturber. They leapt away before his jaws could lock around their leg. The blue beast rose to his paws hunching his shoulders, lowering his head, lashing his tail and flattening his ears. They circled each other, both slinking low to the ground, waiting for the other to make a move.

~Tonoko's P.O.V.~

What is this thing? The thing that woke me up looked so strange... It was standing upright on two legs, while its other two limbs were held bent at its sides as if they were going to reach for something. It didn't have fur, except for a long patch on its head, and it was covered in these... Weird... Things... I didn't grab its leg when I bit, but my tooth snagged a piece of the things on its legs. It was dry, and soft. Like hide almost, but thinner. Anyways, its feet where covered in the same weird drape-like things, and it didn't have a tail. It's face was flat and bare, except for two small lines of hair above their eyes. All in all this thing was bizarre! I should probably be careful, I don't know what it's capable of...

~???'s P.O.V.~

He was huge! This tiger is the biggest one I've seen a a while, but then again I haven't seen many tigers... Especially not blue ones. What an odd fur color... This thing could easily kill me without even trying, I should try to keep my distance. He was eyeing me like he had never seen a human before. Although I did watch him yesterday, the way he reacted to most everything. It was as if he'd spent his whole life in captivity or something. I'll have to look into that... No! Focus! Keep your eyes on the enemy and your head on the battle field!

~Third P.O.V.~
(A/N: Lots of P.O.V. changes in this chapter huh?)

They continued to glare at each other, neither willing to take a chance. At least not yet. The feline quickly grew tired of just pacing and ran, leaping towards the human. Said being stiffened and dodged the incoming blue bullet. An annoyed Tonoko slid to a halt as his paws reached the ground, ready to give it another try while his opponent was regaining their balance. He darted forward again, a roar tearing from his throat. The unknown didn't have enough time to move, so they were tackled to the ground by the furious brute. He stretched his jaws as another snarl made its way from his throat, his savage teeth merely inches away from their face. Unknown cringed at the sight, terrified that they would become this monster's next victim. But instead of razor sharp teeth meeting their neck, they were surprised by what they got instead.
"What are you and why were you circling me?"

They blinked.
'Did this tiger just talk?'

"Answer me!" He bellowed, clearly angered by their lack of response. Unknown flinched, and shoved Tonoko off of them while his grip was loosened and clambered away, hoping to put distance between them. Tonoko snarled, frustration clearly evident on his face.

~???'s P.O.V.~

I scrambled as best I could away from the dangerous animal. Why didn't he kill me when he had the chance? Does he even want to kill me? And not to mention he spoke to me! He spoke! Who ever heard of a talking tiger! He must be some kind of freak of nature... I mean with the blue fur and the ability to speak English. Bizarre.

He snarled at me, which made me guess he was annoyed that I got away. I don't think he'll hurt me though. He didn't kill me, when he easily could have. He just asked me a question, sure he could've asked it a bit nicer but oh well. I slowly sat down, crossing my legs and putting my hands on my knees.
"Well? Are you going to answer my question, strange... Thing?" He questioned.

'Thing?'
"Do you know what I am, tiger?"
"What's... What's a tiger?"
"It's what you are, silly!"
"I'm a... Tiger? That's what I am?"
"Yes! And I'm a human. A female human to be exact. The name's Tanoki! What's yours?"
