Acting weird

Ryoichi quickly hurried over to Kiyoshi's house to have breakfast with him. He was always welcomed over so he let himself enter the house.

"Good morning Ms Yamaguchi!" Ryoichi said, "How are you this morning?" He asked.

"I'm fine how about you Ryoichi?" Ms Yamaguchi asked, "I'm doing good, where is Kiyoshi?" Ryoichi asked.

"He's upstairs still sleeping." She said, "You should go wake him up right now." Ms Yamaguchi said.

"Your right I'll go wake him up now." He said.

Ryoichi went upstairs to Kiyoshi's room and when he got there he walked in and tried to wake him up.

"Kiyoshi wake up!" Ryoichi said, "Come on Kiyoshi breakfast is ready." He said.

Finally Kiyoshi woke up yawning and stretching while Ryoichi got out his clothes and pulled out of bed.

"Come on sleepy head time to get ready for school." Ryoichi said, "I'll be downstairs waiting." He said.

After they had breakfast they left the house and were on their way to school.

"Natsumi!" Kiyoshi shouted running towards her.
Ryoichi stopped walking and watched Kiyoshi ditch him for their friend Natsumi. He didn't want to be late to class so he pretended it didn't matter and that it didn't bother him, in class he would always look at Kiyoshi watching him do his work but this time he saw him talking to Natsumi.

"Hey Ryoichi." He said, "Natsumi and I are going to the library, wanna come?" He asked.
"No thanks I think I'll just see you guys there." He snapped.
Ryoichi got up from his seat and walked away from them because on the inside Ryoichi didn't want to be around them while Kiyoshi tried to flirt with Natsumi. It'll only hurt him to watch Kiyoshi flirt with her, instead he decided to rudely talk to them whenever they approached him together.
In the library Ryoichi decided to sit at a table alone just to avoid being around Kiyoshi and Natsumi. While Ryoichi was doing some research, their friend Masaru came up to him at the table and joined him which Ryoichi didn't mind as long as it wasn't Kiyoshi and Natsumi joining.

"Hey Ryoichi." He said, "How come your sitting here alone?" Masaru asked.
"I didn't want to be around them." Ryoichi said, "I'm trying to avoid ever going near them." He said.

"Oh now I get it." Masaru understood what was going on. "No wonder your acting weird." He said.

"What? how am I acting weird?" Ryoichi asked. "I'm not being weird I'm just simply trying to avoid interacting with them." He said.
While they were talking Kiyoshi and Natsumi walked up to them at the table with books in their hands. They were about to say something when the bell rang, Kiyoshi frowned in confusion when he saw the look on Ryoichi face.

"Well I'm off to lunch, I'll see you guys around." Ryoichi waved to them as he was walking away from the others.

At Lunch Ryoichi sat alone until the others joined him. He sat next to Masaru instead of Kiyoshi, still avoiding Natsumi and Kiyoshi.

"What's wrong Ryoichi?" Kiyoshi asked, "Why are you acting weird?" He asked.
"Weird? how am I being weird?" He asked, "I'm leaving." He said.

Ryoichi left the table to throw away his finished lunch while Natsumi followed just to go talk to him. When Natsumi approached him he was gonna leave but instead he wanted to talk to her, he stayed where they were so he could talk to her.

"Hey Ryoichi can we talk?" She asked, "Yea I guess so." He replied.

"Why have you been avoiding Kiyoshi and me?" She asked, "You never avoided him before so why now?" She asked.
"Do you like Kiyoshi?" He asked, "I do like him." She replied.

The bell rang before Natsumi could say anything else and Ryoichi hurried back inside. In class when the others got there, Ryoichi went back to avoiding them.
"I'll try talking to him after school on our way home." Kiyoshi said, "I really think you should." She said.

After school Ryoichi waited outside the building for Kiyoshi. While he waited he heard the others coming, Ryoichi clenched his bag hoping the others wouldn't tag along.

"We'll see you guys tomorrow!" Kiyoshi waved goodbye. "Let's go home Ryoichi." He said.

On their way home it was quiet between them until Ryoichi decided to start a conversation.

"Kiyoshi there's something I want to tell you." Ryoichi unsure about telling him his secret he decided to not tell him yet.
"What is it Ryoichi?" Kiyoshi asked, "Never mind it's nothing." Ryoichi answered.
"Do you like Natsumi?" He clenched his fist already knowing he does, "Yea I really like her." Kiyoshi blushed with embarrassment.

"I'm sorry if I was acting weird today." He said, "It's ok Ryoichi." Kiyoshi replied.
They waved goodbye to each other as they reached Kiyoshi's house.
