The lies

The next day at school Kiyoshi and Riyoichi were in class talking about stuff when class was starting and they had to do their own projects so they headed to library to do research together.

"Kiyoshi what are you doing for your project?" Ryoichi asked him.

"I don't know yet, what about you?" Kiyoshi asked him.

"I don't know yet either." Ryoichi said laughing.

They laughed quietly together then Natsumi and Masaru showed up.

"Hey guys." Ryoichi said looking up at them.

"Look at you two already researching for your projects." Natsumi said smiling at them.

"Well of course we both want to get the research done then get right to making it!" Kiyoshi said cheerfully.

"Sounds like a good plan for you guys." Natsumi said joining them at the table.

While they were researching Together they were sharing books and taking notes and looking at other books too, Ryoichi went to go get another book when Masaru stopped him.

"Ryoichi can I talk to you in private?" Masaru asked him.

"Uh sure." Ryoichi said.

They went out into the hallway to talk alone privately away from the others.

"So what is it?" Ryoichi asked him confused.

"He's been lying to you for so long Ryoichi, he doesn't really care about you at all." Masaru said looking at him.

"That's a lie that's not true! I don't believe you not one bit your just making up lies!" Ryoichi said turning away to leave but he stopped him.

"It's true Ryoichi, he's just using you. He doesn't really care at all and soon he'll just get rid of you." Masaru told him trying to convince to believe the lies.

When the bell rang Masaru left and headed to lunch while Ryoichi went back inside the library to Kiyoshi and when he walked up to him he looked at him then looked away.

"Ryoichi? You ok?" Kiyoshi asked him.

"Yea I'm fine, lets just go to lunch already." Ryoichi said coldly walking ahead of Kiyoshi.

At lunch they sat in silence eating and not even making eye contact but Kiyoshi kept looking at him.

"Would you stop looking at me?!" Ryoichi asked angrily.

"Ryoichi...I-" Kiyoshi paused not bothering to finish his sentence.

During lunch Masaru wanted to talk to Ryoichi in private again and they did.

"Masaru are you sure you think that's what he thinks of me?" Ryoichi asked him.

"All I said was that maybe someday he'll just push you aside and go for someone else like Natsumi." Masaru said looking away.

"I just don't believe he would do such a thing, how could he? I've been with him for a long time he's my best friend." Ryoichi said looking away thinking about it.

"Well who knows, maybe he just does these things to mess with you and do you think everything he says is true? What if he doesn't really love you?" Masaru asked him.

"He does! I know he does! There's just...just no way he wouldn't lie to me.." Ryoichi said getting upset.

Later after school while everyone was leaving, Kiyoshi and Ryoichi were still in the classroom gathering their stuff when Kiyoshi walked up to Ryoichi to talk to him.
