Arguements and a break up

The boys always did their usual routine and we're always together until a rumor just had to get in between them as they both thought about it everyday.

"Everyone is suspicious about us and think we're a couple, now everyone in school knows." Ryoichi complained while he walked back and forth in front of the table him and Kiyoshi were sitting at.
"So what? It doesn't matter to me if they know, I don't care." Kiyoshi was just being honest with Ryoichi, he got up and hugged him from behind but Ryoichi pushed him away.

"You may not care but I do! aren't you worried that maybe our parents will find out?! How can you be so calm about this Kiyoshi?!" He could tell Ryoichi was furious and upset, he also knew that he was right. What if their parents found out?

"I am worried about them finding out but people at school knowing, it doesn't matter to me! What are you now to embarrassed to be with me?!" He was feeling the same way Ryoichi was feeling about this.
Before Ryoichi could say something back the bell rang and he hurried out of the library leaving Kiyoshi behind, Kiyoshi caught up with him even though Ryoichi was trying to ditch him. He finally had given up when Kiyoshi pulled him aside to an empty class room just so they could talk more.

"Why do you care so much about the others knowing? Who cares if they know!" Kiyoshi furiously spoke almost yelling at him.
"I didn't want people to know! I didn't want it to be public this soon!!" Ryoichi talked back trying to get away but Kiyoshi wasn't letting him, instead he pinned him down on the floor kissing him but Ryoichi pushed him away.

"Why are you being like this towards me Ryoichi!" He looked upset at Ryoichi while he just looked back looking stubborn.

"I hate how your so calm about this and don't even care!" he yelled furiously at Kiyoshi.
"Well I hate how you care so much about what others think! You won't even kiss me anymore!" They were both angry at eachother.

Ryoichi was really angry that he tried to throw a book at Kiyoshi but he dodged and instead tackled Ryoichi trying to kiss him, they looked like they were wrestling while yelling at each other.
"Ever since we found out about the rumor you've stopped kissing me and holding my hand! Your completely avoiding me, why are you doing this?!" Kiyoshi was really upset that Ryoichi could hear it in his voice.

"I don't want to be to close to you because we'd only be hurting each other by my rumors!!" Ryoichi snapped at him.
He accidentally hit Kiyoshi in the face somehow scratching him before pushing him away, when they stopped he realized what he had done.

"Kiyoshi I-" he paused when Kiyoshi looked up and he saw him bleeding.

"I get it now... you wanted to be together forever but then this happened and now you don't want me?!" He was heartbroken and Ryoichi could hear it in his voice how hurt Kiyoshi was.

"Kiyoshi I didn't mean to... I just didn't want the both of us to be hurt. He felt bad for what he did to Kiyoshi.

He walked up to Kiyoshi trying to hug him but he got rejected just like how he rejected everything Kiyoshi tried to do to him, Kiyoshi pushed him away while leaving the room and Ryoichi knew he deserved it. Before leaving the room Kiyoshi stopped half way with the door opened.
"I hope your happy with what you chose." Kiyoshi left without letting Ryoichi say anything.

From what Kiyoshi had said before leaving the room, he knew they had just broke up and he also knew it was his fault. During lunch when they both got there and saw each other, Kiyoshi looked away and started flirting with Natsumi.
The light brown hair boy watched the dark brown haired handsome boy flirt with the girl the dark haired boy had been chasing after, Ryoichi took his seat next to Masaru and began eating his lunch listening to Kiyoshi sound happy talking to Natsumi.

"Something is different about you two." Masaru looked at the two boys who usually sit together.

"Different? Maybe you should ask Ryoichi what's going on." Kiyoshi sounded angry then he got up and walked away.

"Kiyoshi wait!" Natsumi ran after him leaving Masaru and Ryoichi alone.

Ryoichi ended up telling Masaru what was going while Kiyoshi and Natsumi were being flirty the rest of the day, at the end of the day Kiyoshi was headed home alone by himself until Ryoichi attacked him out of nowhere.

"What do you want Ryoichi!" He asked angrily not wanting to speak to him.

"I wanted to say I'm sorry for hurting, I love you Kiyoshi and your right I shouldn't care please take me back!" Ryoichi tugged on his shirt begging him to take him back.

"No way Ryoichi you crossed the line, I have a date tomorrow after school with Natsumi." He told him while pushing him away and began to walk away.

"Your moving on that fast?!" Ryoichi questioned as he followed him.

"It's best if I did so I can try to forget about my feelings for you!" He snapped at Ryoichi then realized what he had said.

They both were shocked about what he had said, Kiyoshi got upset and just kept on walking leaving Ryoichi standing alone.

"Kiyoshi!!" Misami happily hugged him when he walked in.

"Not now Misami." Kiyoshi walked away from her after she hugged him.

"What's wrong Kiyoshi?" She could hear the sadness in his voice and wondered why he was upset.

"Where's mom?" He asked trying to avoid explaining what happened today.

"She said she was coming home a little late again." She looked at him and saw how sad he looked.

"I'm going to my room now." He headed towards the stairs but Misami stopped him.

"Kiyoshi what's wrong? Tell me!" She demanded him to tell her everything.

"Ryoichi and I broke up today, he cared to much about people thinking if we were a couple." He sat down on the couch covering his eyes.

"Kiyoshi... I'm so sorry to hear that." She hugged him tight.

"I said something rude to him and I take it back..." He began crying while Misami hugged him.

"What was it?" She asked wanting to know.
"I told him I was gonna try and forget my feelings for him... and he tried to forget his feelings for me when I didn't notice him." He wrapped his arms around his sister while crying.

"Oh Kiyoshi.. I am so sorry!" She told him while they stayed hugging.

"It's fine, I have a date tomorrow after school so it doesn't matter anymore." He told her sounding so calm.

She backed away looking surprised at how he's already moving on.

"I know I'm moving on too fast but it's for the best ok?" He told her while walking into the kitchen.

Later he made dinner while Misami cleaned up around the house and when dinner was read their mom came home just in time, they ate and got ready for bed. Before going to bed Kiyoshi was sitting on his bed looking through his pictures on his phone of him and Ryoichi.

"Kiyoshi?" Misami spoke softly as she walked into his room.

"Yes Misami?" He asked looking up at her.
"Are you sure about moving on already?" She asked wanting to know what he was thinking.

"I don't know ok? Ryoichi and I just need a break and so does our friendship." He told her while putting his phone away and turning off his light.

"Goodnight Kiyoshi." She said before leaving his room.

After she left closing his door behind her he tried to sleep but he couldn't, he finally got comfortable and fell asleep.
