For The Love That She Missed

There are many things that happen in real life. They may be good or bad, but the thing is you need to make your choice. Some think that in making this choice; one will be grateful and happy while the other will feel sadness. But what they don't know is that there is this so-called "CHANCE", that both can be happy on the choice they will choose.

There was a girl named Honey Paz. She is a beautiful lady with long curly hair, red cheeks, jolly, and wonderful. One of her best asset is her kissable lips.

In her high school life, she had a boyfriend named Arjay Santos. Arjay is a year elder than her. The boy is handsome, gentleman, never hit a cigarette nor take alcoholic drinks. In their relationship, happiness and sweetness filled their memories together.

As their relationship is getting longer, there was a boy who was secretly in love with the curly-haired girl, named Jaylord Lee. Lee has curly hair too, and he's tall, dark and handsome. He is also a great basketball player in their town, Pagudpud. They were classmates, but because he's too coward to admit his feelings towards her, jokes became his only way for confession.

Jaylord was not able to talk to her face to face. Why? Simply, because the girl is committed with his gang, Arjay. Jaylord was so in love with Honey but he can do nothing to take Honey from his friend. He can only text and call Honey just to make his moves, for him to burst out his feelings.
One day, they planned to have an outing with their classmates.

The next day, Honey's classmates were in the park and Honey received a message from the boy who is secretly in love with her.

He said, "You will ride on my motorcycle."

So stupid right? Such a conceited guy.

He can't tell Honey face to face what he really feels and what he want, because the boy was too coward. Or probably Jaylord is frightened by his friend Arjay that his move might easily be discovered.
Needs and wants of Honey, Jaylord had provided, such as guitar the thing that the girl love the most but Honey needed to learned to played it. So, Jaylord taught her to played the instrument. Scene that he needed to embraced Honey to taught how to played the guitar and secretly Honey felt flattered.
5 months of being in a relationship, things for Honey and her boyfriend became complicated. Why? Because of Arjay's attitude, he became demanding, super protective like everywhere Honey goes, he needs to know. Came to the point that, Honey can't handle it anymore, pushing her to break up with him.

With break up...

Arjay was fooled and hooked with bad things. He started hit cigarette and drink alcohol. He still wanted to get Honey back in his life, but the lady of red lips don't like anymore. The boy became rebellious and got someone pregnant, killing the slightest chance for a second chance.
Until Honey's graduation, she never entered a relationship. Moving on process became her companion, it seems like there's no end for that pain he felt with arjay.

College life... Many things had change. New like, new journey came to her.

What happened now to Jaylord? Is he still in love with Honey? Did he make a concrete move toward Honey now that she is free? Did he do something for his long supressed feelings?
Every night, Jaylord makes it to a point to call Honey. Jaylord always says "I Love You Honey", but Honey is too hard to get like Maria Makiling. So, Jaylord waited until Honey says "I Love You, too".
But deep inside Honey has a feelings for Jaylord also, we all know that we cannot avoid this feeling specially when that person have been a part of your life.

But, at that time Jaylord had already a girlfriend, then he told Honey. Yes, of course Honey felt pain like he broke her heart, as she feels she'd been cheated. Yet, Jaylord supposed, the one he love is Honey not his girlfriend. Jaylord can't do anything to break up with the girl because he doesn't want to hurt the girl, and he is waiting for the girl to end their relationship. So, Honey and Jaylord decided to wait until Jaylord will be free.

Jaylord continues his sweetness. He calls Honey every night. But, one morning Honey realize that there something wrong between them, she felt pity for Jaylord's girlfriend.
She said, "We're both girl, I can feel what she feels right now and it's so painful". It's not that they're doing some monkey business but still their conscience is bothering them.
Honey decided to stop what they have been doing. But the boy was so in love with her that he didn't gave up. He always tried to text and call Honey.

Honey asked, "Why can't you just give up? Will you please stop it! Stop cheating your girlfriend! Come back if you are free! Not now that we're hurting someone."

He answered, "I can't, I can't risk the possibility that you'll forget me!"

With that thought, they both decided that it's better for them to just continue their friendship.

Last Saturday, it was Wilma's birthday, a friend of Honey and a cousin of Jaylord. Honey was invited, the event was held at Jaylord's house.

When the event is going on, Honey noticed that Jaylord wasn't there. So she asked Wilma.

Wilma answered, "Jaylord is in his room with his girlfriend. He is hiding her from you, because he knows that both of you will only be hurt if you see each other. He can't do anything. She is his girlfriend but it's you that he loves. But still, he needs to respect both of you.

That scene was so painful for Honey that she cannot stay any longer. On their way home, Honey was shouting crazily, she realized that he loves him and the thought of him with another girl broke her heart like a glass that it cannot be whole again. She regret why she doesn't fought for her feelings to the boy she truly loves when the chance came to her.

While honey is still being hurt with her last encounter with Jaylord, Arjay Santos suddenly got back and texted Honey saying, "Can we be together again?"

Honey has no words to say because Jaylord is the one she truly loves and she dearly wants in her life. But she can't do anything. The chance that came to her is gone. Because of the painful things that happened in her life, Honey thought that she needs to choose a better choice to have a greater chance to make her life better.

Jaylord's feels the sadness of his girlfriend. He realized that it's not right what he do for the two girls seems like he's not a gentle man, he didn't respect the feelings of the girls. So he decided to fixed his life with her girlfriend. He choose a better choice to stopped his wrong actions because he feel guilt why Honey is being hurt so much.

Several years later...

Now, they live a peaceful and happy life. Having their own goals and dreams as guides.
The handsome boy is busy for taking care of his son, while the tall, dark and handsome boy tried to fix his love life. Lastly, the girl who missed her chance is now happy with her life. She can do what she wants. She lives with her happy thoughts in her life carrying the lessons that she learned in her sad but inspiring past. She knows that someday the right guy will come in her life and will show and make her feel what love really is. And when that right guy comes she will make sure not to let at chance slip out of her life and cherish every second with Mr. Right Guy.
