The days were warmer and I was getting excited, I am hoping to get my Hogwarts letter soon. It July 31 and we are having a birthday lunch for my dad, Harry Potter. All my cousins, Aunts and Uncles and Grand Parents are here for a 'small' gathering. We were talking about Hogwarts and first years and millions of other things about their days there, I was getting excited to be so close to going there. I am not the only wizard in my family (which is rather large) to be in first year at Hogwarts this year, my cousins Louis Weasley (Uncle Bill and Aunt Fleur's son), Molly Weasley (Uncle Perce and Aunt Audrey's daughter) and George Weasley (Uncle Fred and Aunt Ang's son, names after uncle George). Not to mention the ones that aren't in first year. Anyway, that lot and some of my other family members are over having lunch with us. Fred, Louis, Al, Hugo, Teddy (god brother) and I were all running upstairs to grab our brooms when I spotted Elaine, our owl, sitting on the kitchen table with a parcel. I run over to it, excited out of my brains, and find it, the thing I have been waiting for all summer... The letter! I run into the garden to mum and dad "I got it, I got it, I got it" I shouted waving the letter in their face.
"Well have you opened it?" asked Aunt Mione.
"No-" I replied "I'm way to nervous."
"Do you want us to?" Gran asked.
I didn't even reply I just shoved the letter into Grans hand and waited for a response.
"JAMES SIRIUS POTTER WHAT ON EARTH HAVE YOU DONE!" She exclaimed. I was upset. I just wanted to hide, I had been waiting for Hogwarts since I could remember and now I don't get to go.
But she continued "YOU, THE LITTLE TROUBLE MAKER, MADE IT INTO HOGWARTS!"
