New Neighbours (A Harry Styles Fanfiction)

"Bonnie, get uuuuupppp" Maddie, my best friend, calls through my bedroom door.
"Ugh, why?" I said burying my head into my pillow. "It's only 8 am" I said whining.
"Yeah and it's a Friday which means you need to get your ass outta bed and get ready for school" she says whilst walking into my bedroom.
"Are you kidding? fuck I thought it was a Saturday" I complain as I peeled my self out of bed and into my bathroom to have a quick shower. I take off my clothes and step under the water, letting the boiling water run around my body. I stood there for a good ten minutes before realising it wasn't Saturday. Which has already ruined my day. "Shit" I said rushing out, drying my body and wrapping a towel round my dripping hair.
I quickly rush to get dressed, putting a cropped white top with 'OBEY' across the front and some high waisted, denim shorts and purple high top converse on my feet. I blow dry my hair and leave it slightly wavy, as that's what it's like natural. I put some mascara on and then some lip balm. As I run out the door I grab my phone, shouting a quick "Bye" to Stephen, my older brother as my mum and dad are already at work.
I walk calmly to Maddie's car, enjoying the hot sun, and get in the passenger seat.
"God Bon, how long dyou want to take? We are already 15 minutes late" Maddie stresses as we speed off down our road (she lives next door to me so we basically live in eachothers houses).
"Sorry, sorry I thought I was a Saturday so I turned my alarm off.
Don't worry about being late we are only missing home room" I chuckle at her need to be punctual. The rest of the short car journey was sat in silence as I hummed along to Maddie's radio playing 'She's kinda hot' by 5 Seconds of Summer.
We pull into Maddie's usual spot in the car park and rush to first period.
I burst through my Science room door and I could immediately feel all eyes on me which immediately set off my nerves and made my hand start sweating.
"I..um..sorry I was l-late, sir" I murmured and fumbled with all the books I was carrying. I rushed to my seat and got our my binder and pencil case and made a few notes on what I've missed.
"Hey" I heard a whisper next to me.
"Oh, hey" I gave Louis, my science partner, a small smile.
"Have you heard there's a new guy in our grade?" Louis whispered.
"No, I-"
"Bonnie, Louis, is there a problem?" Mr Squires asked us across the classroom.
"No sir, we were just discussing the biological factors of cells" Louis confidently answered. I just gave him a 'thank you for saving me' smile and out my head down. Sitting in silence until the hour is up.

As the bell goes for the end of the day I gather my stuff and casually walk out towards Maddie's car to wait for her there.
"Umm excuse me?" I hear an unfamiliar, British voice behind me. I turn around, seeing if it was me who was called.
"Me?" I question.
"Yes you, I was wondering where the buses meet at?", he asked. He was tall, a lot taller than me and had the most amazing green eyes.
"They are..um..they meet at t-the front of Tech Block, down the side passage." I replied, nervously. My people skills really need some work, I can't talk to a stranger without getting ridiculously nervous.
"Thank you", he smirked and walked away. I stood playing on my phone until Maddie finally showed up, looking all flustered.
"Maddie?..what's happened" I said laughing.
She stood for a second trying to catch her breath.
"Niall, we erm..caught up I guess" she said as she walked around to the drivers side.
"You did not! Oh my good Mad..you totally snogged him!" I exclaimed, earning an embarrassed laugh from her, "you two are totally getting back together." I added on.
She gasped "we are so not!" She breakers harshly at a red light.
"Are you sure because that's not what the look on your face is telling me" I laughed.
"Just shut up and stop teasing me, I'll talk about it later" she snaps as she slams out of her car.
"Well damn" I say under my breath. "Sorry Mads, love you yeah?" I shout after her. All I get is a middle finger and a dirty look.
"What the fuck is her problem?" I hear a British accent say behind me.
