I remember when I was young. When I had to put up with my family telling me that I was useless.

They use to tell me that I needed to act like someone I wasn't.

But when I had went to the Hitachiin mansion, It was different.

"Hikaru! Kaoru! This is (Y/N)! She will be staying here with us for some time. Make her feel welcomed, Alright?" Yuzuha Hitachiin, Hikaru and Kaoru's mother said to them as I stood behind her, hugging my doll close to my chest. I was only about 7 years old at the time. Hikaru and Kaoru the same age.

They nodded and then Yuzuha smiled, walking away from us, leaving me alone with them.

"U-um... H-hi," I stammered. I never was good with people, To shy to really talk much.

That is something my family did not like.

"Aw, Kaoru. She is stammering! Isn't that cute?" One of the twins, I am guessing was Hikaru- Due to him calling the other Kaoru- Said.

"Yes, it is cute." The other replied with a grin.

"U-um... Th-thank you..." I stammered again.

"So why are you staying here? Don't you have a place to stay?" One of the twins asked.

"W-well, Yeah. My mommy and daddy just needed a break from me..."

"A break?" They asked in unison.

"Y-yeah..."

My mom and dad did need a break. Not from my perfect little sister. Not from my perfect big brother. Just from me. The disgrace. The scum.

"How come?" One twin asked.

"I-..." I didn't want to continue, so I just stopped there and stared at my feet.

They didn't ask again. Usually when I didn't answer someone my mom and dad would scold me, But here, If I didn't want to answer...

A whole week went by. I was still at the Hitachiin's. I felt bad that they had to take care of me, But at the same time I was happy. I didn't have to be yelled at daily by my parents.

"Hey, (Y/N)? Do you want to play a game?" The twins asked in unison.

"I am not playing the 'which one is Hikaru' game again," I said as I crossed my arms.

"Aw, But why not?!" They both whined.

I had gotten a bit more confident around the twins. It felt good.

I didn't answer the twins. I just puffed out my cheeks.

"Fine... What do you want to do, then?" Kaoru asked.

Yes, I know which is which. But I made sure they didn't know.

Why?

Because I knew I would have to leave... And I didn't want them to miss me to much. Too much? No, they wouldn't miss me. They would move on.

"Draw..." I said, walking to a table. We then doodled the whole day... It was fun.

But then...

"(Y/N)? Your parents are here to pick you up." Yuzuha told me.

I didn't want to go...

"Okay," I said and got up.

I then smiled at the twins, who looked almost as sad as I felt.

I then handed them a ribbon that I had kept in my hair.

"To remember me...It's not much, but..." I trailed off.

They took the ribbon and I walked out to my family's limo.

I wish I never left...
