Another bang another boom. You sat up in your bed frightened and shaking from being so scared . This had been the first time you experienced a thunder storm alone . In your spacious lonely apartment the sounds seem to echo throughout out making everything more frightening.
You got up from your bed and walked over to the wall to turn on a light . The shadows the lightning was creating also wasn't a perk.
But of course there was a power cut . You grabbed your phone and turned on the torch illuminating the room .
You look around for some sort of candle but of course all you had was tea lights and they really didn't make the room any brighter .
Ugh you were stating to feel cold and your body was still trembling in fear .
Flash
You grabbed your blanket from your bed and sprinted to the front door of your apartment. You quickly unlocked the door and sprinted across the hall to the next flat door , twenty-three .
You knocked harshly on the door . "Niall , Niall open up , come on please" you said and continued knocking trying to awaken your neighbour . "Niallll"
Your were pacing back and forth on your feet wrapping the blanket closer to your body.
You heard Niall unlocking the door and then it opened revealing Niall standing in a a pair of very tight calvin klien boxers with dishevelled hair . "Y/n what do you want ?" Niall groaned rubbing his eyes.
"Eh ehm" now you were feeling stupid . You and Niall were friends and had been for about six months when you moved into the complex. But you probably shouldn't of come over at half four in the morning with no sort of speech prepare . Like what were you supposed to say 'hey Ni I know were not that close but could I come over and stay with you in your apartment because I'm brickin' it in mine'.

Another flash of lightening in the cold dark hallway made you jump into Niall's arms without even thinking . He wrapped his arms around you , shushing you and rubbing your back. You pulled away from him after you realised what you had done .
"Ehm sorry" you muttered under your breath . "Ill just go" you started walking back to your apartment when you felt someone grab your arm and pull you back you knew it was Niall and then you were pulled into a hard chest .
"I guess you and thunder storms don't agree" Niall whispered . He shut the door and brought you into his bedroom and sat you on his bed. He grabbed something from a drawer in his beside table .
It was a torch which he used to illuminate the entire room ."I never really liked thunder storms since I was little after my sister left me outside in one" I said half laughing . Niall laughed too "how did she manage that ? "
"Well we were playing outside and she ran inside to get something but she kind of forgot to come back outside and yah" Niall smiled .
A clap of thunder was heard and made you jump Niall grabbed you by your waist and pulled you into his lap. "Its okay" he said .
"I feel like such a little kid being scared of thunder storms"
"Its okay babe everyones scared of something" your heart swelled when he called you babe . I guess you had a little crush on Niall , I mean who wouldn't he was adorable , care free , a great listener and had a great sense of humor too.
"Oh really well what are you scared of Ni"
He laughed "eh I dunno" he shrugged
"No niall you told me everyone was afraid of something so what are you afraid of " you laughed hitting his shoulder .
He pulled you into his body and hugged you , you and Niall had cuddled before so it wasn't awkward or anything . You rested into his body taking in his scent , he smelled like soap and shaving foam. You looked up at him and smiled he kissed your forehead and started softly humming what sounded like the tune of wake me up by Ed Sheeran .
"Well Y/n I guess I don't like pigeons."
You bursted out laughing "your scared of pigeons ?"
"Oi says you , what much can thunder storms do to you inside" he laughed
You looked up at him smiling again to find him looking down at you ; And then everything happened so fast he leaned in and so did you and a pair of soft warm lips were placed to yours. He pulled away and got up "I'm so sorry Y/n "
"I didn't mean to do it but your just always look so-
You walked over to him and pressed your lips to his again , he was shocked at first but then kissed back . Your hands were around his neck and his on your hips , his fingers tracing shapes.
You both pulled back breathless your foreheads touching . "Y/n will you be my girlfriend ?" Niall asked nervous . "I thought you'd never ask"
