From the moment people learned spoken language until the end of time, there will always be legends and fables. Tales of heros and villans, of war and victory.
They were however just bed time stories meant to lull small children to sleep at night, or old men's exaggerated tales of the way the world once was, told over a cold drink amoungst friends at one run down bar or another. One such tale of a man named Samuel spread like wild fire through out the country.
As legend has it in the year eighteen hundred thirty five, on the same night Halley's comet soared past the earth while a bloody battle happened at the alimo. samual, a first class gun maker by trade, created a gun that would change the world forever. This gun was rumored to be able to kill anything, including the evils most of the world knew not of. this gun was so powerful no regular bullet could be shot from it, so samual forged a special brand of bullet for his gun. Thirteen was the number of bullets he forged before his death.
Most folks thought this gun went to the grave with samual as did his legend, few folks know this gun is still floating around undiscovered or that it is the only key to the devils gate. The devils gate is a door to Hell, The only one known Devil's Gate in Calvary Cemetery in southern Wyoming, was built by non other than samual himself.
The devils gate if opened could release from Hell all the evils hidden within. So the man named samual and a few more like him vowed to fight that war, to hide all evil behind that gate, and hunt down, like mad dogs, all things not natural to hide them within the gates so the innocent may never know the war started.
And, like all legends, the legend of samual and his gun was told time and time again. Until one day the tale of samual reached the ears of a young boy who by fate was pulled into this war of good and ultimate evil, and like the good soldier his father taught him to be he vowed to fight this war started centuries before his time, to win, at any cost. He vowed to find this gun and it's remaining bullets, to hide the evil beings from the innocent eyes.
But legends are just legends... Until they aren't
