PLEASE READ!! I would like to make it very clear that I am not actively updating this story. I had written about twelve chapters for this story three years ago, before deciding to rewrite them to be higher quality. Now I am reuploading the chapters I hadn't ever gotten a chance to rewrite (meaning I have not altered them). Fair warning, the content of the next seven chapters might have plot holes because I changed things when I rewrote the first five chapters. Read them if you would like :)

Nico trailed after Prince William, an awkward silence as he led them through a court yard. The trees littering the castles land were tall and foreboding, the leaves rustling in the wind. Nico took it all in with a deep breath.

Approaching the tall doors of the entrance, Nico had inhale a deep breath. He was officially entering his doom, and misery was evident. As they passed through the doors, he shuddered.

-

Nico whistled, staring at the back of the blondes head. Prince William had golden curls, He licked his rugged lips and tried to hold back a snicker at the princes disobedient hair.

He didnt try very hard.

"What? What is it?" Prince William inquired, turning around to face him. Nico's lips curled upwards at the princes sassy stance, and how his hand rested on his pelves.

"Oh nothing, nothing at all." The thief rocked on his heels. "Prince William." He added, breaking apart the words and exaggerating the consonants and vowels.

Previously, the wild haired prince had been stringing Nico through the halls of the castle, gesturing to different rooms and such. Nico thought this would be a servant or slaves job, but the king didn't seem too fond of the prince. Maybe he doesn't want his son taking over after him? Weirdly they dont look anything alike.

"You should show more respect to me; Im royalty, you know." Will boldly stated, straightening his back as if that would prove his point further. Nico tried to keep a straight face but couldn't help snort.

"Royalty you may be, prince, but you have no power in this castle." The previous thief felt the words leave his mouth before he could stop them, sharp and with edge. "You might as well be servant, the way the king speaks to you and assigns you to these mundane jobs." He laughed cruelly, "Thats right, royal boy, I compared you to a servant. A low life, filthy, repugnant, forgotten servant. What are you going to do about it? Oh thats right, nothing. Because you have no power, none."

Nico was pleased to have stunned Prince William into silence, only a breath away from royal boys face; he had moved forward quite a bit in his speech. Maybe he shouldn't have said that but every part of it felt good. Telling a royal off made him felt great.

It did.

Kinda.

It should've, except Prince William wasn't reacting the way Nico thought he would.

In every scenario where Nico had given Royals what they deserved, the truth, he had expected them to be steaming with anger, so embarrassed and upset, they could stand there speechless.

But the prince wasn't doing that.

He was almost calming taking it in, thoughtfully looking off to the side. There was something in his eyes that Nico couldn't pin point. What was he feeling? Suddenly he was walking, Nico stumbling after him, surprised he had started moving, confused as ever.

— admin speaking: unfortunately an accident caused my computer to delete my files, and I lost this chapter. I had started deleting pieces of this chapter long ago when i was rewriting but now its just missing a big chunk of a scene. So i'll summarize
