chapter 2

Deadlox's POV.

I woke up in the nurses office.

"H-How did I get here?" I asked.

"This nice young boy brought you here." She replied pointing towards the kid that I sat next to.

"My names Sky, but you can call me Adam." He introduced.

"I-Im Deadlox, but you can call me Ty." I exclaimed. He nodded, and we walked out of the school, talking about random shiz.

"Wanna meet at my place tomorrow?" He asked.

"I-I can't." I studdered remembering father.

"If you change your mind, my address is (house address)!" He exclaimed. I nodded, and ran home.

"TYLER! YOUR LATE!" My father yelled as I opened the door.

"S-Sorry. I-I was talking to my friend and-"

"What friend?!" He inturupted.

"N-Never-"

He grabbed the collar of my shirt before I could finish my sentance, and punched my stomach.

"What's his name?!" He yelled out a question.

"S-Sky." I studered as he dropped me to the ground. He walked into the kitchen, and came back with a beer bottle. I started to shake and panicked. I ran out the door, and he chased me down.

I ran into public, and they gasped st the sight of him holding a beer bottle, and chasing me down. I bumped into someone, and others blocked his path. Its Sky! I hugged him with tears brimming from the corner of my eyes, and Sky called the cops. A lot of people cornered him, so there was no where to go.

"Shh. Its ok Ty. I got you." Sky reassured me. The cops took him Away, and Sky carried me bridal style to his house. I could have been killed!

"Was he your father?" He asked. I nodded, and I noticed something.

"Why do you always wear glasses?" I asked. He was speechless. Is he just? No. He would tell me if he was.

"Sky! Please tell me!" I yelled. Still no response. Maybe I shouldn't have asked. . . I snuggled into his couch and waited for him to come back.

"Ty. You know you can do anything you want in here. Right?" He asked. My eyes widened. Anything. I slowly got up, and turned on his TV. I kept on staring at him to make sure he wasn't lying.

"SKY! IM HOME!" A female voice yelled. A girl walked upstairs, and I curled into the corner of the couch, shaking in fear.

"Are you ok?!" She asked looking at me. I whimpered as a response, and Sky hugged me. I nuzled my head into his chest, and I had the death grip on him.

"Mom. This is Ty. I met him at school, and he needs a place to stay." Sky exclaimed.

"I'll go set up the guest bedroom!" The lady exclaimed as she walked up the stares.

"Dont worry Ty. My mom is nice." Sky shook my shoulder. I looked at him, and slowly let go as my cheeks turned a light shade of pink.

"I-If you say so." I whispered.
