Now Lucas is different from every kid in that orphanage because his parents left him when he was just a baby he's been there all his life and he has been in and out of foster care but every foster parent he has ever been in has always been in him in some sort of way whether it was just regular abuse or drug abuse even sexual assault and child services thought it would be best for him to just be in the orphanage until they can find a foster parent that is not going to abuse him or can find a forever family so far so no luck because since Lucas has been there since he was a baby and now he's 14 you can see how long he's been there and still no family
And that is why he is always so quiet because he thinks why is it worth talking if he's thinks he's never gonna find a family that actually loves him and is going to take care of them and not abuse him
And and Lucas's parents did not die of natural causes are in a car crash in fact his parents didn't even care about him they left them at the orphanage they left a note saying he was just a big accident waiting to happen and that they never cared about him at all what so ever
So every time he meet somebody that will come to live with them in in his room he thinks not to get attached because they'll leave the all get adopted the off-line families and he won't until he met a girl named Riley
