You peaked out from your door as you were heading out for the supermarket.
"They're there again..." You thought. You stared at the petite brunette female first. She was the main source of attention. You smiled lightly to yourself. "What a unique bunch."
A certain male with a strikingly intriguing expression caught your glance. You turned stuff before heading out the door, acting as if you had never been spying. You cleared your throat awkwardly as the group made a clear aisle for you to walk through. You lowered your head when you walked past each of them; You lowered your head deeper once the one with glasses followed your walking frame.
After you thought you were out of sight, you took off in a dash.
"How humiliating!".
Trying to get the pervious events out of your mind, you grabbed a basket and looked around for simple groceries like milk and eggs, maybe even something to make dinner later on. "Let's see..." You mumbled to yourself. You walked down an aisle looking for ingredients to make Salisbury Steak.
You walked back to your apartment with groceries in hand. "Surely this will be enough for tonight and tomorrow night..." You thought aloud. You entered your apartment after checking to see if the coast was clear.
"I'm home!" You called out. Almost immediately your roommate came rushing to you. You bent down and petted his head. "Why hello Roomba. I'm quite sure you're glad to see me, yes?" You had purchased this "roommate" because you felt quite lonely by yourself. Not to mention you weren't the best at cleaning, so your Roomba did a lot to help around the house. You stood up and made your way to your fridge. Before you went to put your groceries away, you snuck a peek of your outside window.
"So they left..."
.
You watched Netflix on your phone as you were eating your brilliantly prepared dinner, courtesy of yourself. You had to admit, the silence was lonesome, by it could be peaceful most of the time. You sighed. "Always just Roomba and me..."
A loud knock quickly released you from your thoughts. You stood up from your dining chair and answered the door.
"Hello, ______~!" It was your landlord. She smiled brightly. She was a quite young woman. She was quite wealthy due to the fact she owned multiple apartment complexes. "Oh.. Hello Ms. Presley.." She let herself in, not that you minded though.
"You're still living by yourself, I see?" You nodded. Ever since your parents got jobs that required them to travel quite a lot, you just lived by yourself with an empty room which was supposed to be your parent's rooms.
"Yes ma'am."
"No need to be so formal honey! You speak to me as if I'm an elder lady!" You smiled at that.
"So why did you stop by? Did you need anything?" You asked. She clasped her hands together. "Yes! I believe you aren't getting enough education, I would like you to enroll in a school with absolute splendid education programs!" She seemed too happy-go-lucky about all of this. You dropped out of school in the ninth grade, never attending Highschool. The idea didn't seem to bad, but you still weren't completely sure. "Oh don't worry, dear! It's Ouran Academy, the school of the rich and beautiful~ Simply one hell of a school~"
"O.... Ouran?!" You tensed up. "The school of the "rich". I think not."
"Heh, I see that look on your face. It's okay, you're like a daughter to me~! I've got your back, dearie!" The tension was relieved slightly. You couldn't help but feel a bit bad, however. The fees to attend that school were quite high. "I-I guess that's... I mean... I'm not opposed to the idea..." You looked down. The propped your head up to show you her larger than average smile.
"Then it's settled! By next week, you will be officially enrolled in Ouran Academy. Bye now, dear~!" She closed the door before you had time to thank her. You hesitated before walking back to your dining table set.
"Ouran Academy..... School.. I wonder if this time I'll have a proper group of friends." You smiled. "We'll just have to wait then."
