Ember's P.OV
"Wow" I mumbled to myself.. that was so great. Our voices sounded so great together, he is such a great singer. I can see why girls are all over him.
I left soon after I finished the last note and started walking out, I plugged my headphones in and put on Perfect by Hedley in and started singing while walking home.
*20 minutes later*
"HELLO!?!" I opened the lock on my door, I hope Melanie is home. I need to tell her about this!
"YELLOOOOOOWWW?! I'M IN MY ROOM!" She screamed back imitating me, she did a really good job.
"May I come in? I have some really important news to tell you!!!! IT'S ABOUT THAT WEIRD JOSH GUY FROM THAT FAMOUS BAND!" I replied sort of yelling at the end while opening her door.
"WHAT? WHAT?!!? OMG WHAT!?! WAS MATT THERE?!" well isn't she excited to know.. Wait Matt? The Matt guy standing next to them who had the brown hair? I can't remember.
"Um, no I don't think he was but umm.. I was at Timmy's and that Josh guy was there... we sang together... his new song.. it's supposed to be a duet. It was really great. But it was awkward because he kept looking at me.. and well after we got done singing I walked out of there as fast as I could.. but I need to tell you something.." I kept stuttering..
"Yea, what is it?" She asked me calmy because I was shaking
"I think, no.. well um I felt something while looking in his eyes.. I know this sounds silly.. but I felt a connection." I said trying to sound cool and collected but failed miserably.. I think she understands where I'm getting at.
"Oh, that's not a bad thing. Did he ask you to sing the duet with you? He might like you back.. didn't he give you his number?" She asked
"Yea.. but I never texted or called him back.. I'm too scared.." I told her waving my phone in her face.
She grabbed my phone out of my hand and looked through my contacts looking for Josh's
"No.." I was too late..
"You can thank me later." She threw my phone at me and I catched it.
I went over and sat on her bed waiting for a reply, and it seemed forever but after 5 minutes/
J.R: Hey, um.. who is this?
Me: Uh... you gave me your number
J.R: Is this Ember?
Me: Yup
J.R: Hey what's up?
Me: Not much, just got home. You?
J.R: Same, getting ready to go to the studio
Me: Oh cool
J.R: Hey, I needed to ask you something before you left out of the cafe
Me: What was it?
J.R: You have such and amazing voice.. and you're my only hope.. will you sing the song I wrote with me as a duet? I'm in desperate need of a hero.
Me: .. Uhmm Idk, it's kind of my first week here..it's a little too much right now..
J.R: Please...?
Me: .. I'll think about it ok?
J.R: Ok..
I stopped replying to him and started shaking.
"Hey, Mel?" I need to ask her something
"Yea? What is it?" She replied quickly
"Josh wants me to sing a duet with him for his new song.. What should I do?" I said
"DO IT. THIS IS A ONCE IN A LIFE TIME SHOT! DO IT.. IT MIGHT GET US FAMOUS.. WE MIGHT BE FAMOUS.. IT'LL HELP OUR BAND WE'RE JUST STARTING DOOOO IT!" She screamed overjoyed.
" I'm scared.. what what if.. I don't know.. I'll think about it tonight and see if I really want to," I said and walked out of her room and into mine.
"I guess I'll take a quick nap since it's only 12pm right now." I fell asleep quickly.

Josh's P.O.V
"IT'S OKAY TO COME IN GUYS!" Our manager yelled at us, he was grinning from ear to ear.
The whole gang came in scared and terrified there was a whole bunch of fangirls around our studio trying to surround us and one girl tried to kiss me and handed me her bra. I have never been more terrified. And what's worse is I'm clausterphobic.
"So guys, you okay? I heard a girl threw her bra at you Josh." Jared our manager winked at me and wiggled his eyebrows at me.
This guy.
"Yea.. it was sorta awkward.. she tried to kiss me too.. but I backed away just in time." I was running my hand through my hair awkwardly trying to find a seat to sit down because it looked like Matt, Ian and Mike took the sofa.
"You know you liked it Josh!" Matt jumped up from the sofa and came over to ruffle my hair and laugh. I hurried and ran towards the door of the recording studio to start recording "Good to you".
..I wish Ember would say yes.. I need her, her vocals sound so amazing with mine, We just have this beautiful connection when we sing together.. wait.. what? Since when did I ever think about that?
"JOSH SNAP OUT OF IT! JOSSSHHYYY POOOO!!!" Mike slapped my face afterwards. Did I really doze off?
"Bro, you're on right now." Matt yelled through the speaker and I started singing Good to you.
"Everyone's around, no words are coming out.
And I can't find my breath, can we just say the rest with no sound.
And I know this isn't enough, I still don't measure up.
And I'm not prepared, sorry is never there when you need it.
And I do want you know I hold you up above everyone.

"Good job, that's it for today!" Jake said through the speaker and everyone started leaving out the door.
"WAIT UP GUYS! DON'T LEAVE ME HERE." I hurried and ran out to catch up to them when I saw Amanda come in.. My girlfriend. I love Amanda.. I just don't see it anymore after she cheated on me. But I still stay with her because well, I'm just afraid to leave.. I don't think anyone could ever love me..
