Not A Chance
Swiping your luggage off the carousel and setting it on the ground, you felt a familiar arm snake around your waist. You leaned into your boyfriend's chest and breathed in his even more familiar scent. Trey let out a sigh and his other arm made its way around your body. "Long fucking flight, baby" he mumbled, his chin resting on the top of your head. You nod into the soft fabric of his t-shirt, too tired to respond. You had been on traveling with the boy and a few of your friends for nearly four months, and you had finally gotten a break. Last night, you all flew out of London. Sixteen hours and one layover later, here you were in Seatac.
Fresh off the plane with a whole new wave of energy, everyone were talking excitedly, making plans for the remainder of the night. With one look over at you, an assessment of his own energy level, and his desire to be alone with you, Trey quickly declines their persistent invitation. "You guys go on, we're gonna catch a cab back to the hotel" he says with a firm grip on your hand. With that, the boys all said their goodnights and wished Trey luck for what they assumed the night held for the two of you.
"Thanks, man, 'preciate it" Trey mumbles as he tips the cab driver and grabs your bags out of the back. You both trudge up to the hotel, check in, and press the button for the elevator. Trey rubs the back of his neck, repositions his beanie, and groans, clearly inconvenienced by the amount of wait time between him and his bed. Finally, the elevator dings, Trey grabs his suitcase and your hand, and steps inside; impatient to catch up on sleep and missing your body pressed into the side of his.
Approaching your room, Trey pulls the key out of his back pocket, slides it into the lock, turns the knob, and flings the door open. Following him inside and shutting the door behind the two of you, you turn around just in time to see Trey flop face first onto your shared bed. Giggling, you jump in next to him and he immediately pulls you into his chest tightly. "Trey I have to get changed! There's 16 hours of plane on me!!" you say, fighting to free yourself from his grip. Kissing your forehead, then the bridge of your nose he says "Fine. Stay here." Getting up, he walks over to his suitcase, unzips it, and pulls out two articles of clothing, tossing one your way. "Go get changed, babe. I'll be right here."
Coming out of the bathroom in Trey's t-shirt he had thrown you, you take in the scene before you. Trey lying on the bed shirtless, loose, navy, drawstring, sweats hanging low on his hips. His eyes, busy with whatever was on his phone screen, mouth open just slightly. Walking toward Trey, his attention turns to you. Locking his phone and throwing it into his duffle next to the bed, he smirks triumphantly. "Looks ten times better on you" he says through a smile, scooting over to make a place for you. You waste no time getting in bed beside him, and taking up your home inside his arms.
Turning to look at the sleepy eyed boy beside you, you are overwhelmed and grateful for everything your relationship with Trey is. Looking up at him, you place a tender kiss on his lips, then one on his scruffy jawline. He looked down at you and smiled sweetly.
"Get back here" he said, leaning back in for a more passionate kiss, then peppering them across your face. Squirming away from him, he pulls you back in and blows a raspberry on your collarbone. You laugh, and so does he, admiring the man he still can't believe is his.
"How the fuck did I get so lucky?" Trey asked as you both settled back into each other.
"I ask myself that all the time." You reply, playing with his hand.
Everything was quiet for a moment, apart from Trey's heartbeat in your ear. Feeling his chest rise and fall against your back, you could tell he wasn't asleep just yet, but he was close. Kissing his hand, you felt the kiss returned on your shoulder.
"I love you. You know that, right?" He said between kisses, making his way up your shoulder, to your neck.
"I know, Trey. I love you more. You know that, right?" You say, turning around to face him, and pressing your lips to his.
For a minute he's quiet, staring at you like he's won the lottery. Then he leans in and nuzzles into your neck, placing kisses on every inch of your skin, pulling you into him closer. Between kisses, he says three words:
"Not a chance."

Happiness
Have I ever told you how much you make me happy?"
You turn to look at him, a small smile upon your face as Trey rests his head on your shoulder. His long fingers graze over your knuckles before bringing them to his lips.
"I do believe you may have mentioned it once or twice."
He grins, lacing your fingers with his. There's silence as the both of you sit on the leather couch. Trey's arms snake around your waist, pulling you closer while your arm goes around his shoulders.
Your bodies are molded in such a way that it seems as if the both of you were made to fit with each other.
"I want to be with you," he mumbles, a faint blush settling upon his cheeks. He looks into your eyes. "Do you want to be with me?"
You don't hesitate to nod and kiss him briefly. The tanned-skin boy with brown doe-like eyes smiles, the corners of his eyes crinkling up.
~
"Have I ever told you how much you make me happy?"
He whispers the words in the dead of the night - it isn't exactly silent, I mean, you could still hear the obnoxiously loud snores coming from his dorm mate. You're half-asleep, but you catch them, giving him a sleepy smile and a weak nod.
There's a nice silence that settles between the both of you as he tucks a loose strand of hair behind your ear. Trey's fingers are cool against your skin, and he hears your faint grumbling of "go to sleep, Babe. You're annoying" and he does just that, with a slight giggle at your moodiness.
~
"Have I ever told you how much you make me happy?"
You squeal as he spins you round and round. Trey finally sets you down, but you're so overwhelmed with dizziness that you fall on the grass. He laughs crawling over to you.
"Babe, when I set you down on your feet, you're supposed to stand and kiss me!" He pouts.
"It's not my fault you decided to spin me around ten times! You made me dizzy!"
Trey gives you a cheeky grin, placing a kiss upon your lips. You kiss him back, allowing your sweet breath to mix with his minty ones - thank god Mali (I made his sibling's name up idk lolo always told me to keep mints in my pocket. He pulls away, breathless, but the soft smile on his face remains.
"You make me so, so happy."
"You make me happier."
