Kabuto POV

I Heard an explosion followed by a string of curses which probably meant Tira was training. Sai followed slightly behind Orochimaru and we walked to the main training area. It was dim until a streak of lightning flew across the room and for a brief moment, when their swords clashed, the siblings were visible.

"Pick it up Tira, your footing was off!" Hono shouted seconds before he disappeared. Tira stood still, her eyes closed as she listened for anything, something that we probably wouldn't hear. She shifted her foot slightly and made a sharp turn blocking Hono's Katana with hers.

"Tira, Honozi," Orochimaru interrupted gaining their attention. Both had their Sharingan activated but as always Tira's seemed to blaze like fire while Hono's seems colder and more severe.

"You're late" Hono started as he stood straight.

"You were supposed to teach me a new jutsu this afternoon. So we started training without you." I noticed Tira sigh as she spun her katana in her hand before sliding it through her belt and pushing it behind her.

"It was more so he could blow off steam and make sure I was okay."

"Make sure you were okay?" I asked more interested in that than Hono's anger issues. She nodded as her Sharingan faded.

"I'll need a check-up when you've got the time" Her eyes flickered behind me to Sai.

"And I'll explain more in depth then." She finished closing the subject before turning around.

"Come now Princess, where are your manners?"

"Gone with my clan" she replied shortly. A cross look came to Orochimaru's eyes and he raised his hand in a single hand sign. Tira flinched and her hand flew to her neck. It took a moment but she turned to face us.

"Alright fine, who's the new guy?" She asked as he lowered his hand. Sai stepped forward then with that fake smile.

I am Sai from the hidden leaf." Her eyes flickered as she glanced at me then to Orochimaru.

"Sai?" She questioned and he nodded. I noticed her hand twitched slightly as it moved to the hilt of her katana.

"And you are Tira the Princess of the Uchiha Clan." She rolled her eyes as allowed her hand to slip to her side but she remained tense and on guard as usual, behind her Hono remained tense and ready to defend his sister if need be from the newcomer.

"And you're the legendary Honozi. My name is Sai. Nice to meet-"

"Get lost," the Uchiha interrupted simply.

Sai look down, shaking his head. "No matter how much I smile... Everyone seems to dislike from the get-go... Even Tariq." He smiled at the Uchiha again. "Of course, that's nothing compared to how Minxie dislikes me... She's quite beautiful, if I may say so myself."

Honozi remained immobile and emotionless, keeping up his cool demeanor. But it was no secret his coldness had just turned deadly at the mention of a certain emerald-eyes brunette. No one could tell how much Sai's words got under his skin.

The Uchiha absolutely hated it when new recruits came to the hideout. He especially didn't like it when the recruits were from Konoha, and when they spoke about her. He never let anyone speak about her and live.
