I woke up at 8:13 I just sighed, got up and put my dressing gown on. I walked into the kitchen and put the kettle on, got a tray out, put the mugs on the counter. I looked what we had to eat but didn't bother putting anything on, as I know no one will be up for a while on a Saturday. I finished the tea, put the mugs on the tray and gave everyone their tea. I got back into bed, drank my tea then checked my phone.
Somebody had sent me a text! It was my mum! She asked me if I was still alive and said she was on a ship, moving to get away from everything. Said she missed me, I texted her back I said how I was on a ship as well, going to America. She thought we were on the same ship and told me to go to room 31.
On my way down to room 31 there was a sudden voice that filled the air, it said, "Hello there everyone, we will be arriving at Italy around 2 Pm today so we will be stopping there for a bit until everyone stopping at Italy has departed from the ship. Enjoy the rest of your day goodbye!," I carried on walking then arrived, I just stood for a minute wondering if we were even on the same ship...
I slowly went to knock, suddenly the door flung open, "Carl!" She shouted as she wrapped her arms around me,"Are Sarah and the kids ok?" "Yes mum they are fine are you ok?" "Yes, I've been very lonely since your father passed away" She sighed, I looked at my watch, 9:06,"come to my room mum, come and see Sarah and the kids". We walked back to the room and we sat and chatted as we had coffee together.
Sarah woke up about 5 minutes later and walked in the room and didn't notice my mum at first, until my mum spoke "hi sarah" "Rose? I had no idea you were here!" Just then Kat walked in,"GRANDMA!" She screamed "hello kat!" Kat ran up to mum and gave her a great big hug and a kiss, then me and kat wrote in our diaries:
Dear diary,
I have finally found someone i know, and even better it's my own mum! I am so excited to be here on this ship with my mum, i know i shouldn't really say this, under the circumstances of why we are on this ship, but i think this is going to be so much fun with my mum here, like the cruise holiday we never had, I have to go now, i need to start making a fry up for breakfast.

I made a fry up and then we all sat down together and ate, like a normal family, not like people out in this world are dying slowly and painfully but like a normal family, then we went up onto the deck to have a few drinks and celebrate us all being back together again.
It happened just when i was getting all the drinks that a man at the bar walked up to me "I take it you have a nice little family buying all those drinks then" "well, yes i suppose i do and it just makes me realise how lucky i am to be here on this ship, alive, don't you think?" "Well yes, but you had better keep them away from room 31, they say there is a kidnapper staying in that room, she has a mask on, pretends to be people's family, she has already killed millions and taken their belongings, just to try and get some pesky kids." At that moment i dropped all the glasses and ran over to my 'mum' "Get away from my children and leave me and my family alone, you are not welcome here, come on, we have to go back to our room right now!" We ran back to our room and left my 'mum' up on the deck, i went into the room, and put the lock, bolt and chain on the door, "Sam and Kat you are not to leave this room without me or your mum, Sarah i will explain later"
"Sarah that is not my mum you have to believe me! It is a kidnapper that is pretending to be our family so they can kidnap our kids!" whatever i said to sarah, she wouldn't believe me, so we just stopped talking for most of the night then we went to bed and that was the last thing i remember about that holiday... About when..." "When what?" Spoke a soft voice "well you see i took about 6 sleeping pills as i couldn't get to sleep because it was all i could think about, then Sarah put the kids to bed and then she took the rest of the sleeping pills, about 24 of them. Then i woke up at mid-day and Sarah woke af 6PM later that day, but when i woke up there was a massive whole in the door, the chain had been ripped off the door and the bolt was undone i guess and they must have just turned the lock, because our room didn't need a key to unlock it on the inside. But, that isn't the point. They must have complerely ignored mine and Sarah's bedroom and gone into the girl's seperate rooms, which is why i think there was two of them because one person wouldn't be able to grab two girls, which would have been fighting for their life to get away from them." i felt tears running down my cheeks, then i stopped talking. "We can continue talking about this tomorrow if you like? You have a cell here now, it is for your own safety, just in case they were watching us talk and would like to pay you a visit..." i nodded, then walked off.
