So, there's about a thousand errors in this... honestly as soon as i write it i cant seem to be able to wait long enough to proofread it.. because I can't just not post it at that very second. The thing is... roll with it... If I get time I am gonna proofread it... but junior year of high school is seriously proving difficult and time is short... so deal with me... ;)

My eyes fluttered open when the sound of feet disturbed my subconscious. I rubbed my eyes and sit up in the bed to look at Skylar in slippers walking to the door. She turned around when she acknowledged that I had woken up.

"Thank god you woke up! I have been trying for a while to hurl thoughts at you... I was worried. I woke up just a few minutes ago." She rumbled on. The sun shone through the glass wall which looked out onto the sea. The view was just heavenly beautiful. A huge swimming pool with glistening blue water could also be seen between the house and the sea. I had a sudden urge to jump in. Let's go bikini shopping. I grinned. Living here would be amazing.

Skylar shook her head and a smile spread across her face. She came to sit beside me on the bed. Her expression suddenly reminded me of last night and Jackson and I lost my swimming pool appetite.

"Who is Jackson?" One of the few times I asked her, my sister, a question, out loud. She looked down at the hands that were fiddling. It was better discussed out loud.

"He's supposedly my cousin. He was. Look, I lived in Louisiana before I came to New York. I had parents that weren't my parents. They died in a blast a year ago after I had been introduced to Jackson. Due to some reasons I couldn't possibly leave earlier but now it was time I could move in with Jackson." She said it all in one breath, still eyeing her hands. She looked me in the eye and then continued, answering my unspoken question,

"I came to New York because Jackson was supposed to pick me up there. I think there's something weird about us. But they were a bit more clear to me about the situation than you. For security reasons, they said, I was supposed to come to New York." She kept looking straight into my eyes as she said this.

"It's been a week since we've been here and I am sure Jackson was upto something. Whatever it was I know Simon is somehow in the game. Remember Delilah's words. Well, I guess whatever work he had to do was urgent and sudden. He sent me a photo of Alex, supposedly his younger brother, to notify me he was going to be picking me up.

"Now, I have never met Alex before today, and after these past few days I don't believe it for a minute that Alex is Jackson's brother. But I recognised Alex when I saw him cause I had seen his photo." She finally looked away, at the sea, I could see confusion in her eyes, I could see mystery.

"When I met you, everything changed. I know we are sisters and I know that there is definitely something weird going on. It just seems to me like everyone else knows everything but me and you..." she was right and I felt the exact same way. But one question kept attacking my mind. I didn't even stop it from flowing out.

"Who is Alex? I know he's not Jackson's cousin..." she had no answer of course, but I kept voicing my thoughts, "who is Jackson, if he's not your cousin... who were my parents? Who were yours? When we are supposed to be sisters... why did what happened last night happened? There's so many things and we hardly know half of them..." I went on. Tears pricked at the corners of my eyes as the realisation hit me. I was in oblivion. I didn't like being in oblivion. I had been living in a world filled with lies. I didn't even know who I was.
