"Gah! Where the hell is he?" Ji Eun spat out frustratedly as she ran her hand through her hair, looking for Chanyeol.

She took a glance at her watch, it was quarter till seven o'clock. And she was hungry as fuck.

She thought that she has got to find him fast so she decided to go straight ahead even though she wasn't certain she'd find Chanyeol there.

Albeit, before she was even able to take a few brisk steps forward, she heard the ring of the bells that hung before the restaurant door behind her.

A tall man with a grey backpack that looked just like hers entered the small Chinese diner. Although she couldn't see his face clearly because of the dimly lit street and the food place was the only one giving light in it, she concluded that who she saw was her classmate, Chanyeol.

She jogged towards the glass door and went inside to catch up with the male.

"Chan- crap!" She said as the brown-haired guy turned his head to her after she set a hand of hers on his shoulder.

It wasn't her seatmate.

"Oh fuck- shit! No I didn't mean to swear dammit-ah crap I did it again fucking idiot of me- WAIT." She held her hands to her mouth before she could utter another curse word. She looked at the man wide-eyed as his stare bore into her mind.

But the man just smiled.

"It's fine." He flashed another grin at her. Ji Eun was only able to say a short "sorry" and a slight bow at him before he walked towards the counter to order.

Her bored-looking face appeared but her eyes showed her true emotion. She stared at the man's back weirdly, she was so fascinated by him. But soon her sharp, Chinese-like eyes widened when an arm was swung on her shoulder.

"What'cha lookin' at, hm?" His deep voice sent shivers down her spine. It wasn't as playful as his usual, it had a hint of strictness in it.

"Nothing... Uhm, where's my bag?" Ji Eun replied without taking a glance at Chanyeol.

Chanyeol dragged her to a table placed at the corner of the restaurant.

He picked up the menu and started browsing for his food choice quietly.

Ji Eun shifted uncomfortably in her place as she pretended to fix her bag. She feels as if she had done something unforgivable but the awkward atmosphere was killing her so she decided to break the ice.

"Chanyeol-ssi, what are we doing here?"

"To eat. Go look at the menu, pick what you like. I'll buy it for you." He said in a friendly tone. Ji Eun thought that it was a quick change of mood but she didn't mind it that much.

"Water. I'll have water." The lady who sat across Chanyeol said. She didn't want to burden him by buying her a meal, so she chose water instead, much to Chanyeol's dismay.

Chanyeol tilted his head gave her an "are-you-kidding-me" look.

Before Chanyeol was even able to create an appropriate response the waitress came to take their order.

"Two large servings of Egg Drop Soup, Iced tea and water please." He said as Ji Eun stared at him.

'L-large? That's so much...'

The waitress repeated their order, said the amount of time it would take for the food to come and left.

After a little while, two bowls of steaming hot Egg Drop Soup were placed on their table along with their chosen drinks.
