Chapter 1: Is that Niall Horan?

Is that Niall Horan?
My next door neighbor,
My best friend,
My crush,
On stage at the X Factor.

Rewind: To two days before.

Knock. Knock.

" Jess. Can I come in?" My best friend said. Or so I thought he was.

" NO!" I screamed. Yet he comes in anyways. I cover my self with a pillow so he doesn't see the horrible mess I am.

" Let go of the pillow, I wanna see you."

" Well, I don't wanna see you." I snapped.

" Jess. To be honest I don't think I'm gonna even make it pass the auditions. I mean its the X factor." Niall confessed. I let go of the pillow stood up and tackled him onto my bed.

" What do you mean Horan. Your the best singer I've ever heard. That's why I WON'T let you go." I replied. He gazed into my eyes for a solid ten seconds, then turned over and pinned me down.

" Jess I'm not going to leave you forever. I love you too much to do that." He whispered into my ear. I blushed and began to shake. Just thinking about him going breaks my heart...and what if he breaks his promise? Maybe the fame will make him change his mind about me. And perhaps the chance of us. I wasn't paying attention at the fact that Niall began gazing at me. He could see right through me. He's gotten so close to me that he could almost read my exact thoughts. It scares me that he has the ability to do this, especially that I can't do it back to him. He broke the silence by getting off of me and helping me up. As soon as I regained my balance tears started rolling down my cheeks.

" I am really going to miss you. I don't want my Nialler going." I sobbed. He grabbed my waist and I flung my arms around his neck. He slowly pulled me away, stopped , and then  carefully placed his lips onto mine. It was the warmth of Niall's soft and delicate lips that startled me at first. Then it was the fact that he's kissing me! Is this a friendly kiss, or like a LOVE kiss? As Niall put more pressure onto my lips I began to loose my train of thought.
