Scarlett
I opened up the door to see Carter waiting. He had a annoyed expression on his face. I opened up the door wider to let him know he could come in.
"You know we are going to my house." He scoffed.
I rolled my eyes and ran to my room to grab my stuff. I told my Grandma that I would be back soon. When I got back to the door Carter was in his car.
"Took you long enough." Carter said.
I rolled my eyes for the millionth time today. When the car started moving Carter started blasting his annoying music in the speakers.
"Can you turn the music down!" I yelled over the music.
"What I can't hear you!" Carter said mocking my voice.
"Can you hear me know?" I stated annoyed while turning the music off.
"Well aren't you nice." Carter stated sarcastically.
I ignored his comment and stayed silent for the rest of the drive. He was somewhat nice yesterday and know he is acting like an asshole.
I was interrupted by my ringtone. I looked at my phone and it was Hannah. I obviously answered because I might be annoyed at her, but I'm not going to ignore her.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Hey what happened yesterday?" Hannah asked.
"Nothing. Anyway how did the date go?" I tried making conversation.
"It was obviously not nothing." Hannah stated ignoring my question.
"I can't do this right now I will call you later." I rushed to hang up the phone.
"Who was that?" Carter asked.
"No one." I said.
Carter rolled his eyes, and continued driving until we got to a huge house. My eyes widened as we pulled up even closer.
"It's not that big." Carter shrugged.
I chuckled and got out of the car. Carter followed me, and opened up the door. When I walked in the house it smelted of freshly cut roses, and was as big as it looked on the outside. We continued walking through the house until we got to his room. His room was on the top floor and it was massive. Surprisingly, it was very neat.
Carter sat down on a bean bag, and got out his books. I sat down beside him, and got out my laptop and notebook. After about an hour of writing and planning we were half way finished.
"Do you want to take a break? We can get something to eat downstairs if you want." Carter asked.
"Sure." I stated.
We walked downstairs, and went to the kitchen he got out oreos and peanut butter.
"You like oreos with peanut butter!" I said shocked.
"Yeah I have since I was little I don't know why. Most people don't like it." Carter said with a sincere smile.
I chuckled and sat down at the little table in the kitchen. Carter put the oreos on the table along with a plate with peanut butter then sat down.
"Do you know why Katie has been distant lately? Is it common for girls to get bored of their boyfriends?" Carter asked concerned.
I was shocked that he asked me something like this. I thought that they were a happy couple that everyone shipped. Maybe I was wrong about Carter maybe he wasn't as bad as I thought.
