The Toast Song

So unfortunately, Sabrina made a song about Toast.

She sings it,
"I love toast.
You love toast.
Heee's crunchy on the outside,
But softer on the inside.
Just like the crayfish he plays with.
Ohh, how I love that Toast of mine!"

We claimed to witness him cut open a crayfish before. I don't know why, we didn't ask.

But on the bright side, Atleast she can make songs... I guess..

"Hey, Brina?"

"Hey, what?"

"Wanna go to the park?"

"Sure!"

After we get ready, we walk to the park.

Sabrina started quietly singing Love Note For A Rainy Day by SayWeCanFly. We like that guy.

Brina gets kinda excited, "I have to throw this trash away, come with me."

As she slightly tugs on the back of my shirt, my heel trips me and I fall straight on my rump!

Brina laughs and leans over, "Murr, ohmygad! You weren't supposed to fall!"

"Why'd you pull me down?"

"I didn't pull you down, you just tripped!" She laughs again.

As I got up, here comes Toast just jogging up. Sure, why not? Great timing.

He stops in front of us, "I seen you fall. You need to watch where you're going."

(Murr, if you're reading this..^ Well, see what I did there? ;D)

I stand slowly, "Ya, thanks for the help up." I look over at Brina.

She shrugs and tries not to laugh again. She covers her mouth.

(Did I ever mention we're both usually shy?)

As I look over at Toast, he was staring at Brina, smiling. Then he looked over at me and smiled bigger.

"You two are just something else." He jogs off.

After that embarrassing moment, we stayed a little longer and decided to go back to our apartment for dinner.

"I don't know what to eat." I complain.

Brina mumbles so I look up,
"What?"

She swallows her food, "I said, just eat a peanut butter and cinnamon sandwich."
She takes another bite.

"Ew."

"It's not ew, have you ever even tried it before?"

"No..."

She eats the rest.

I get the PB&C and bread out, "Ya, actually that sounds really good right now."

After I ate mine, we danced around to music like idiots. (That sandwich is really good btw.)

Sabrina stops, "Let's listen to Great Big Storm by Natey poo!"

"Nate Ruess? Hmm, I dunnooo.."

"Pleeeaaassseeee?" Brina begs.

"Oh, alright."

"Yay!!"

It was an alright song. It was really funny watching her flail her arms around and prance like that. She said that's what Nate does.

Sabrina looks at me, "Me, I-I'm like his- his uh, shadow! Ya that thing."

"You're too in love."

She thinks for a moment, "Maybe you're too in love!"

:| "No. Not at all."

We have to go to work today, that means I have to hope Toast doesn't bring up the falling at the park incident.

Larry yells, "Where's Sabrina?"

Uh oh.

"Brina, Larry wants you."

I watched her as she went to his office. He closed his door so I didn't know what was going on.

She came back and went straight outside with Toast. That's weird.

It was driving me crazy!
She was gone for five minutes and when I asked her what that was all about, but she only told me Larry needed Toast and her to do something for him.

Hmm.

I watched her closely as we worked. Finally, she just stopped what she was doing, putting her hand on her hip, and leaned against the counter.

Looking at me she asked, "Why do you wanna know so bad?"

I look over, "Just curious.. I don't like it when he doesn't call both of us in there."

She smiles, "I know, I know. I don't like it either. But I can't necessarily help that, now can I?"

I smile too, "No, not really."

Poor Brina. I'm just kinda weary of our boss, that's all. I just don't really trust certain people. But if Brina does, I should, right?

"Hey, Murr." I snap out of my thoughts.

"Quit being a lazy ass and go back up to the counter to take orders." She starts making a pumpkin spice latté.

As I walked up, staring at the counter, I asked, "Welcome to Starbucks, what would you like?"

As I heard a guy speak, I look up, finding Brina's ex smirking.

"Where's Sabrina?" He asked.

"Uh, working. Where else would she be, Daniel?"

"I don't know."

"Well she's busy, which means go away if you're not ordering, you'll cause a line buildup."

"Fine, geeze. I'll take a mocha latte."

I think it's safe to say Brina finds it difficult to enjoy relationships. It's because of her past. Which I understand, at least I know she doesn't date a guy unless she really likes him and wants to give it a shot.
