I was totally stunned at what I was looking at. I wanted to go in and join them but obviously I can't. I didn't have any money. I stayed and watched the men in the warehouse kick the shit into each other. I really wanted to have a closer look, just as I was about to walk in a hand shot out and grabbed my shoulder."Where do you think you are going Mr?" a voice asked me. I kept my head down and turned around. I could see why he thought I was a boy. I had on a pair of baggy jeans and a baggy hoodies that was 10 times too big for me and my beautiful long dark hair was tucked away under a wool hat I was also wearing. It took me a minute to look up into the most gorgeous eyes I have ever seen. They were the darkest of brown that would probably have you cowering away from them, but not me, I didn't feel intimated at all.
I heard a gasp coming from the boy and I figured he noticed I was a girl. He quickly composed himself and I started to giggle.
"Come on dude, it's just a face" I laughed again.
I could see him looking me up and down and for sine reason I wasn't embarrassed in fact, I welcomed it. No one and I mean no one has looked at me the way this boy is right now, but hell he was HOT I wasn't complaining. I couldn't tare my eyes away from him and he smirked at me. He was tall, I would say about 6ft 1in and he hard hair. Did I mention that he has the most gorgeous eyes; I did mention that I think but they are so dark, big, and beautiful so captivating.
"It's just a face baby" he said arrogantly throwing my words back at me.
"So, what's a beautiful girl like you doing in a place like this?" he questioned with a raised eyebrow.
"Em...I...just went for a walk and come across this place" I stuttered out.
"Right OK" he laughed at me.
"Whatever" I grumbled and turned away from him. 'Great come back Sav'.
I was still standing there staring at the fight. I could see through the gaps, the announcer announced the next fighter. I didn't hear the name as I was too distracted in the boy walking towards the ring. I looked behind me and right enough the boy was gone.
I watched in anticipation as he was getting circled by a much bigger man than himself. I stood in awe as the boy took a step back on his left leg and as fast as lightning swung his leg around and kicking the much bigger man and he dropped to the floor. "Holy shit" this boy can certainly fight.
The boy was looking around and looked right at me, with this smirk that was way too sexy. I just stared back and clapped my hands. He got down from the ring and I assumed he was heading in the direction of the changing room.I was in the middle of watching another fight when I felt a hand on my shoulder and I turned around to see the boy I was talking to. I didn't know what to say to him so I said the first thing that came into my mind.
"You have to teach me how to fight like that" I said hopefully. He looked shocked for a minute.
"You want me to teach you how to beat the shit out of someone?" he questioned while laughing, I only nodded my head.
"And why do you want to fight?" I didn't know what to say to him, I didn't know him or trust him so there was no way in hell I was spilling my guts to the first guy that talked to me.
"Something to do" he was just staring at me giving me this look. He's going to say no, I just know it. Something then flashed in his eyes and I couldn't pin point that emotion. I'm not very good at reading people.
"OK, can you meet me back here tomorrow night?" I could contain my happiness and jumped to hug him, he seemed a bit surprised that I hugged him. I am too but I don't care and I don't think he does either as I felt his arms come around me. His arms felt amazing around me, like I was made for him and him for me. I quickly got rid of that thought.
"Absolutely, see you tomorrow then" I said then walked away.
"Wait" he called after me. I turned around facing him.
"Yes?"
"What's your name?"
"Savannah" I blushed. "Yours?"
"Beautiful name for a beautiful girl" he smirked. "I'm Noah" he said then walked away.
I needed to find some new clothes and I need a shower. I made my way to the homeless shelter; I never had to walk that far which was great. I really hope they have enough room as it's quite late. I was walking along the street and noticed that someone had left their washing hanging out. A huge grin displayed across my face and I jumped the fence. I grabbed a strap t-shirt and a pair of trousers, they were perfect. I quickly jumped back over the fence and continued on my way.
The shelter came in my line of sight after about 10 minutes and I was just in time before they shut the doors for the night. I was so lucky that they had one more space. The woman who let me in showed me where the showers were and told me to help myself to shampoo and soap, and I did just that. After I had showered she showed me to my bed for the night. I quickly fell asleep as I haven't slept in a bed for a while now. I was dreaming of the day I got free, it still felt like yesterday.
DREAM ~
I was coming out of the room that I had been sleeping in for the past 10 years. I walked into the livingroom and seen that someone had left the window open.
"I can't believe it" I whispered. I looked around to see if anyone was paying attention. This has got to be a joke. They never leave the window open, they always make sure evetything is locked up tight.
I ran back in my room and got dressed in the clothes that I had been given. Once I was dressed I made my way back out the room and the window was still open. I made my way over to the open window and opened it wide.
"This is it Sav, now jump" I encouraged myself. The window wasn't that high up. I jumped and landed softly on my feet. 'Surely I should have atleast felt the ground beneath my feet' I thought.
"Now, where do I go?" I quietly said to mysef just incase someone heard me.
I ran and ran and didn't look back, I didn't stop until I couldn't see the house in my sight anymore.
I woke with a jolt and noticed that I was still in the shelter. I made myself fall back asleep, well I tried anyway, I couldn't stop thinking about tomorrow night and how I am going to get to spend some time with Noah.
