Chapter 9~

~Maria's POV~

Me and Harper walk through the front door tired as hell. Why is it so quiet? The boys should be up by now.
I hear people whispering so I call out asking if any one was there.
"Hello? Anyone there?"
I hear a sigh of relief and Brooklyn and David come running into the living room. I set Harper down and she runs straight to David. Brooklyn runs straight to me and hugs me tightly. He was about to kiss me until I whisper to him.
"Remember we're secret and your dads in the room" I say. he nodded and kissed my check instead. "Guys it's alright, you can come down now it was just Maria and Harper" just as David says that we heard people running down the stairs.
Romeo comes up to me and hugs me like there's no tomorrow. "Don't ever do that again we were worried sick" Romeo says and the other nods.
"But why and where did you go?" Victoria asks ask little mad
I look over at Brooklyn and them back at Victoria and say, " um do you mind if I speak to you and David alone for a moment?" I say with hope in my eyes.
"Yeah sweetheart, The rest of you go put Harper too bed she look really tired" David says and me, Victoria and David go into the kitchen while the others go upstairs.
"So will you tell what happens now?" "Yes"
"It all stared when I was walking back into my room in the middle of the night because I couldn't sleep so I went and got I drink. Harper came out if Brooklyn's room slightly crying, she said she had a nightmare so I asked if she wanted to sleep with me and she said yes so we went back to my/guest room and she fell asleep quickly sleeping next to me, because all I think she needed was someone to hold her, she was shaking scared.

"Aww bless her those nightmare do really get to her sometimes" Victoria says sadly. "Carry on" David says

"well before I fell asleep completely I saw a shadow out side the window. And when I looked closer I saw that it was my brother" I say tearing up a little bit, I never talk about my brother. "He was standing outside the window with a paper where it read,

didn't think you could get away easily huh? Just you wait I'm coming soon.

"And when I saw that I panicked because my brother had said that last sentence before and it meant that he would be coming in the morning so I picked up Harper and quietly walked down the stairs to the car. And right when I put Harper in the front seat she woke up and couldn't go back to sleep and i was driving, she didn't bother asking why we were leaving because I don't know what I would have said but, when we were driving back to my flat, there was a lot of traffic and honking so she didn't fall back asleep. We made it back at 4:00 am and only slept till  9:00 so then we went back here." Just as I finish speaking David and Victoria sit there in silence.

"I'm so sorry this happens to you" Victoria says hugging me. "Not to be rude but you never talked about you brother, so is it okay if you tell us what happens before?" David says quietly
No it's not and yeah I can tell you, you deserve to know why i walked out and stuff.

When I finished telling them about my brother and what he did Victoria felt really  bad for me and David was really angry. "I'm so sorry all of this had to happen to you" Victoria says hugging me. "It's okay, it not your fault" I say hugging her back. "Okay well you look like you need sleep" David laughed slightly and so did me and Victoria. "Yeah mind if I take a nap?"
"No not at all"
"Okay well see you later"
"Bye"
I walk up stairs to see Brooklyn standing bye the stairs at with his arms crossed.
"I'm going to kill him when he comes again."
"Brooklyn don't."
"How!?"
"Just don't let it get to you like I did" i say kissing him on the cheek and then walked into Romeos room.
When walk in I see Harper asleep on the bed and Romeo lying next to her scrolling through his phone. "Hey what you doin?" I say laying next to him putting my head on his shoulder. "Nothing much what about you?"
"Tired, mind if I take a nap here?"
"No, go ahead I was gonna take one too" he laughs and puts his phone on the bedside table, then putting an protective arm around me and we fall asleep instantly. ( for you dirty minded people not the are NOT spooning just being best friends)

--Three hours late--

"Maria"
"Maria"
"Baby"
"Maria baby, wake up you need something to eat" Brooklyn says softly into my ear.
"Huh? what? I'm up" I say tiredly.
"Yeah go get dressed I'm taking you out" Brooklyn says clapping his hand and walking out of the room. I look around to see I'm still in Romeos room just bye my self. I get up and put in the first thing I find, which turn out to be a casual drees I got for my birthday from Kirsten. I walk out of the room to see Brooklyn ready. We walk down the stairs, say bye to Victoria and David and head to the car.
On our way there Brooklyn wanted to use his go pro do he set it up. We were driving in a comfortable silence,  until blank space by Taylor swift? came in and that's when we lost it.

(Just imagine its Brooklyn and Maria, the video of them jamming to it up there 👆 or there 👉)

"Thanks for driving me home, I had really fun today. "

I say to Brooklyn we were currently standing inside my flat because after he took me out we went back to mine and hung out  with Kirsten.
"No problem thanks for having me over" he says with a smile.
"No problem, I'll see you later?"
"Yeah I'll text"
"Okay bye" I say giving him a kiss on the lips. As i was pulling away he kept leaning in so I was stuck between him and a wall so it kind turned into a make out, until he pulled away.
"Sorry just really need to do that, I couldn't stand that I couldn't kiss you while we were at my house"
"It's okay I enjoyed it" I say smirking.
"Now go before you get in trouble" he quickly pecks me on the cheek and lips, says bye, and leaves.
