Chapter 6 ~

A/N James looks like the guy in the picture. Still Friday night.

- two hours later -

Just as he finished singing we heard people clapping in the background we both turn around to see the Beckham and Ramsay family. Megan was with them this time.
"Wow, that was a really good song, who wrote it?" Matilda asked.
"Maria did, she is the best at writing songs, I'm glad she's my friend" Brooklyn smiles proudly at me.  I blush slightly and thank them. But in I can see Megan glaring at me.
"Brooklyn you were great! I didn't know you could sing" Megan said.
"Thanks, and I have told you before that I sing. And I have sung to you before" Brooklyn says awkwardly. You could see the disappointment and sadness in his face. 
"Well what are you using this song for anyway?" Cruz asks.
We are using it in a sli- Hey! Step away from my noodles. I say pointing at Romeo and the whole room fills the laughter. Except Megan is still glaring at me.
"Please? just one bite and I will leave you alone." Romeo says.
"Fine ONE bite" i say and Romeo starts doing a happy dance.
"As I was saying we are using it for a slide show we are making for James farewell party."
"Cool, I'm sure he will love it" David said and smiled.
"Yeah I'm sure he will" Romeo says with his mouth full of noodles.
"Okay well we have to go now it's getting late. Hope he likes the slide show" Gordon's says and we all follow them out the door.
Before they left Megan goes up to Brooklyn and gives him a quick peck on the lips and says bye. It hurt a little inside to see him with Megan but I just have to get over it.

~Brooklyn's POV~
How could she not remember that I sing?
I have sung to her before.
Does she not care about me?
I was brought out of my thoughts by Maria waving her hand in my face.
"Im sorry what?"
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah why wouldn't I be"
"I saw the look on your face when Megan said that she didn't know you could sing..."
"Oh that....., I'm fine doesn't matter anyways."
"Okay well I'm gonna go now since it's 11:30 already"
"Okay I'll drive you home."
"Oh thx"
"Mom I'm driving Maria home"
"Okay I'm going to bed now so lock the house when you get back, be safe, bye Maria" Victoria shouted from the stairs.
"Bye see you soon"
And we went to the car.

~Maria's POV~

Me, Kirsten and Brooklyn all went together because James said we could stay the night after the party so we just took one car.
When we got there we saw there were a lot of cars so we were glad we took one car so we didn't have to park far away.
He said the door was open so we could just walk right in.
"Oh hey guys, glad you could make it" James says walking up to us.
"Hey thanks for inviting us" Kirsten say wrapping her arms round him.
"Pleasure" James says kissing her.
"Aren't they just so cute together" Brooklyn says looking at our best friends
"Indeed they are" I say looking at him.
"Let's go say hi the mrs.Wood" (James last name) I say dragging him outside.
"Okay no need to drag" Brooklyn chuckles.

-three hours later-

"Remember that time where you were dared to yell you were preggo" Brooklyn laughs and we all join in.
"Yes I do and then this stranger came up to me and asked it I was on drugs" James laughs
"But you said no and started walking away, but you had a sprained ankle so you were walking funny so it looked like you were drunk and high, so he almost called the police" Kirsten's laughs.

We were all currently sitting at a table all together plus tow of his cousins talking about fun times we have had together.
I look down at my phone to see what time it is and it Is just time to show the Slid show to James.
"I think I'll go to the bathroom be one sec" I say, which is our code to say that it is time.
"I'll join you"  Kirsten says standing up as well.
"My mom just texted to call her I will go do that inside" Brooklyn says and stands up to with his phone.
"Oh okay?" James says but shrugs it off.
As we get into the house we quickly get the USB with the slide show on and go outside to the projector.
Luckily James hasn't seen us yet so I grab the microphone and get people attention.
Hey guys my name is Maria and this is Kirsten and Brooklyn and we are James bestest friends, if that's even a word. I say earning chuckles. "I would like to say thank you James for coming into our lives and making it fun." I hand the microphone to Kirsten and she says what she has to say. And then she hands the microphone to Brooklyn. At the end he says, "so your properly wondering what we are doing up here" Brooklyn says.
"Yes. yes I am your not gonna unfriend me right"  James says earning chuckles for the other people here.
"No, but we did make a slide show for you to show how much you means to us.
The song in the slide show is called live forever. Maria wrote it and I sung it."
"Hope you enjoy it" we all scream into the microphone and the slide show begins.

Just as the slide show finished the whole crowd broke into an applause.
James came running up to us with tears in his eyes.
And engaged us all into a group hug.
"Come on! I thought we weren't gonna make each other cry! You all promised not to do anything big"James cries.
" well we all lied, and right now we are all crying, so is his mom" Brooklyn whispered to us and we all look up from the hug and see his mom crying. We all left one space for her to run up and give us a hug too.
"Awe guys that was so sweet, James you've  got the best friends" mrs Wood says to us and we all let go from the hug.
"Thank you guys" we say and go sit down agin.
