Lovesick

Chapter 2

I awoke to the loud noise of Sam's alarm. Mumbling to myself seeing as it still beeps, I slammed my fist down atop if to shut it off. I'd note to myself that Sam had already left. I scooted closer toward the window to lie in the direct rays of the sun to get warm again.

A few moments passed before I finally decided to get out of the bed. I walked out of the room heading into the spare room that I claimed as mine for times I didn't feel like going home to my own apartment or if I was avoiding one of my many sex crazed boyfriends. I strolled over to my closet taking my time as I grabbed one of my uniforms slipping on the trousers ever so slowly and then the shirt buttoning it up leaving a few buttons free near the collar.

I was never one for rules which is why I don't wear my uniform as I'm supposed to, I don't wear my tie I never keep my shirt buttoned up all the way and hardly do I ever tuck in my shirt. Once I finished I'd walk toward the kitchen to discover a note on the counter left by none other than Sam and it read"went to meet up with the pack to greet the new kid help yourself to whatever". I'd rub my temples and sigh knowing how difficult it is for the newbie's to adapt. "Why must you act so kind to every run away pup"? My whole mood just changed within that small time frame as I grabbed my back heading out the apartment checking the time before I leave.

I noted to myself that I had about 15 minutes to get to school and class lest I wanted to get in trouble with the principle again. I swear he had it out for me seems every chance he gets I'm either suspended or mainly in detention after school daily.

I'd walked up the stairs of the school switching my hips slightly as I made it to the top. A quick glance around had shown everyoneseemed to flee from sight once I entered, not surprising "Petty humans". I made my way down the halls as a path was cleared down the middle. Something seemed different usually by now at least one of my pack mates would have popped up to greet me so why not now as well? I'd picked up my pace first heading to Kora and Ken Ken's class on the first floor. They weren't there but that wasn't a big surprise they were always skipping heh so no reason to worry.....Right? I hurriedly rushed to the next set of twin's classes the infamous Ryota & Ryuzaki the hot heads of the pack seemed every five minutes one or the other was in some type of fight or idiotic argument over god knows what.

After having traveled to each and everyone of their classes I was starting to loose it not finding anyone so I decided to head to the roof where the pack occasionally met during school. Closing in on the door to the roof just as I was to open the door I was hit in the face by that peculiar smell again 'whose was it? surely it didn't belong to anyone in the packs' I'd brace myself frowning as I walked through the door shielding my eyes as the brightness of the sun blinded me for a brief moment before I adjusted, looking out to find my pack mates gathered in a circle lounging as Sam stood in the middle high and mighty as he always did when he addressed the pack as a whole or even as individuals but that's to be expected from our alpha. He sent a half smile my way that calmed my nerves as I ran over throwing myself into his arms nestling my face into his chest.

I could feel his lanky yet muscular arms wrap around my frame holding me close as he growled in my ear as I in turn purred my submissions to him before asking. "What's going on and why is everyone gathered here is there a new member? I could smell him a mile away who is it? where are they? what's he look li-" my rambling was silenced with a small peck on the lips causing me to blush deeply in return stuttering out my response. "W..what? why y....grr you ass" He chuckled smirking down at me as the group snickered he always toyed with me not even caring to know my true feelings. I pouted. "The bell is about to ring everyone head back in and we'll meet again at lunch" His vice rang in my ears like a soothing lullaby as I nuzzled into him clinging for just a bit longer as a few purrs escaped from me before I let him go. "See you at lunch kitten?" I'd nod to his question a little to excitedly as I got dizzy not noticing him take his leave effort me leaving me standing alone on the rooftop.

I frowned after noticing I was alone before looking to the sky sighing. "Mom? dad? And Aoi too if your there and listening to me I miss you all but, the least you could do was help me out skittle with Sam gawsh" I'd smile faintly as I ran back inside and down the stairs to my classroom just before the bell rang.
