"Stay Close to Me"- Park Chan-young

The marketplace was small, cramped, and careful—like everything here had been built on the edge of desperation.

You stayed close to your husband, your fingers lightly brushing against Park Chanyoung's sleeve as you moved through the narrow path.

The vendor's voice stopped you both.

"How much?" he asked.

But down to your hand.

To the ring.

"...That," the vendor said simply.

You stiffened slightly.

Immediate.

The vendor exhaled. "It's worth more than anything you've got."

"We'll trade something else."

"Not interested."

A tense silence stretched.

The vendor leaned back.

The vendor frowned. "Not enough."

Eun-hyuk didn't react.

"Half now. Half next stop. We have clearance routes you don't."

That made the man hesitate.

You watched the shift happen in real time.

Eun-hyuk wasn't arguing emotionally.

He was calculating.

Offering survival logic instead of desperation.

The vendor's eyes narrowed.

"...Prove it."

Eun-hyuk tilted his head slightly. "You won't survive long enough to find out if I'm lying."

Silence.
