Letter writer's P.O.V.
1/3/2013
"Hurry up; you're going to make us late!" My mates are yelling at me from up the street but they can't see me put this letter in the post so I'll risk being late."I'm coming!" I shout back before dashing onto Marie's porch and lift the flap of the post box to slide the letter inside and take her neatly written, perfectly folded one in my left hand and slip it into my pocket and run off before they notice I'm not on the pavement any longer.
"Let's go boys on the bus now if you want to make it back by tomorrow night!" Paul, our 'babysitter' as the fans say pushes us all onto the tour bus and each of us head straight to our bunks pulling out laptops from crevasses along with headphones and plugging them in.
Swiftly, I pop the SD card into the usual slot and wait for the program to pop open.
"Hello! I apologize now for this being filmed during the day and me walking around but tonight I promised I would go over to a friend’s house with Rose for a girls night, she has a daughter the same age as Rose so hopefully that'll be fun. Anyways you said you think you dress nicely and by the way you write I'd reckon you do but I guess we'll have to wait to tell for sure." The bright green eye'd. blonde I'm made for stops to giggle for a second placing her petite hand over her mouth and she snorts slightly sending me into a short laughing fit getting an odd look from one of my mates on the bunk across from me. I just shrug my shoulders and shut the curtain so I'm hidden and unable to be seen.
"Oh my goodness I can't believe I just did that! Well now you know that I do that I should probably share my other quirks with you as well! Hmm what should I start with? Well one thing is before I go to sleep my kitchen it has to be clean or I just can't sleep. Oh and speaking of sleep, there's always a fan on in my bedroom at all times when I'm sleeping or I just can't fall asleep. I’m not really sure what other quirky things I do but I’m sure that there are many more unsaid but we'll leave those for later. Rose! Say hello to the camera!" Marie's voice immediately uplifts a bit and she quickly turns the camera to Rose a little girl standing about 2-3 feet off the ground with the same big, green eyes as Marie with a giant smile held on her face just as Marie always has.
"Hi Camera!" One of Rose's small hands flies up and waves to the camera before she turns and runs back down a hall way.
"Well apparently your new name is camera and no longer secret admirer, aye? Rose is all hyped up to meet Kaylee for the first time and hasn’t settled since I've told her we're going this morning! I have to pack her a small bag so I might as well bring you with me." Marie begins walking down a white, tidy hallway and I notice the heaps of black and white pictures of her and friends. They stick out a lot considering they're not like normal photos people usually have hanging in there house but rather fun and funny pictures of her and her with friends. One sticks out more than the others though, it's of her and another girl both rather close to the camera, she scrunched her lips into what people describe as duck lips and both have their eyes crossed.
"Okay, I'm just going to put this on her dresser so I can get her things together but still talk I guess." She doesn’t talk much while she gets Rose's things together just mumbles a little and asks Rose which shirt she wants and small things like that.
"Well I guess I'll leave this long video here, bye!" With that she places her small hand to her lips and blows a kiss just like she normally does.
