Chapter 2
Break
Saturday is my relax day for me. That's why I kept myself busy to read books while the air touches my face as I am in our small garden in front of our house.
"Did you eat breakfast already?"
I turned my head to my side and saw Xander who is still on his pajamas with matching his messy hair. He pulls one chair and sit. His eyes have some morning stars that are not removed. He even yawns and stretched his arms. Is he has a routine as he wakes up? It seems none.
"Yes" I replied and shook my head on his appearance. He did not ask further questions and just busy himself on his phone. Seems like that is the reason why he woke up this late.
"Here is your late breakfast Xander." Our mom announces and puts the plate in front of my brother. She also put a plate of cookies in front of me and some pitcher of juice.
" Thanks Mom!" My Brother and I muttered on Mom while she is occupying the seat next to me. I closed the book I'm reading and then started to take a bite of cookies which I'm sure baked by Mom.
While we're busy attacking the food that our Mom prepares, she asking us on how we are in school. She even asked how is the first meeting on Student council goes.
"As usual mom, it's kindly a disaster." I answered and put some cookies on my mouth.
"I already imagine the 'disaster' you are saying. Nothing's new as the boys and girls on Elite Section on your batch are in one room, there is no peace but War." Xander stated and take some spoonful of his oatmeal. I mentally agreed on him. Elite Section in our batch, boys and girls are like water and oil, cats and dogs. We can never have a peace because we are already declared a clash.
"Still have that "Clash?" How can you all be a model for the lower years if you all are on that Clash?" Mom questioned. I put down the cookies and took a deep breath. That also makes me to wonder. How can we lead Aldama High if we, the turning seniors next school year are the ones who haven't a unity?
We are the next leaders but on ourselves we can't be a role model as we have a clash.
"Anyway, what happened on your blazer Xandie? It has a stained of I think a juice." Mom changed the topic. She notice that me, myself can't answer the question.
But the Question she changed is more irritating. Not again.
"How come Ate turned to be clumsy?" Xander wondered.
My mood turned gloomy as I remembered yesterday what happened. Argh that Boy is getting on my nerves! I composed myself so that mom and Xander can't be the one who will get my irritation to that arrogant.
"It's nothing . It's just some boy named Jaydee bumped into me and spilled the juice he's holding in my blazer." I gritted. Saying his name makes me puke.
